Is it possible to beat the First Main Boss in White Gold Tower Solo?

I beat up the fat guy at the end of Green Emperor way so i could go through the door. Now im looking at the Adjucator, and its only V15. I cant seem to understand why the boss resets after she puts me in the cage. I get it unlocked pretty quick, but she still resets. Just curious if the mechanics are designed so that you cannot beat it alone. Also the Group Finders is either not being used or doesnt work.
