Since last Friday I've been getting that message ONLY for this game and no other, and it's really annoying, takes long and sometimes it doesn't even sync.

I am having the same problem. Can't log in... Is the server down? The problem began about 30 minutes ago.0 -
It is working again. What I did different was....I logged into my xbox live account before clicking to enter the game. Before. when you would click on the game it would prompt you to log in. That method doesn't seem to be working. Log in to xbox live before you open the game worked.0
