Anyone else notice this yet...
It takes 13 pieces of say, a daedric skin to make a belt at vr15, and 130 to make it at vr16.
Combine this with the fact that the rate of getting these materials from breaking down equipment is about 50% chance of getting one piece (with all passives). I think out of the several hours I've played and others giving me stuff to break down I've managed to build up like 3 pieces of the new wood, 6 skins, 10 ingots, etc. The fact it will take probably 1000+ to make a whole set of vr16 gear. Kind of crazy.
Now, if this is how you want it. Fine, I think it's too much, but whatever. Do me a favor ZoS. Don't decide in 3 months or whatever to reduce it after players have spent all the materials making gear and let the next tier of players working their way to it make it for a fraction of the cost of materials.
Same to trophies - if I have to spend weeks grinding mobs to get enough trophies to open a vault, it better have a guarantee of the item of my choosing in it. Not a random chance and a random item that might be worthless in my build or worthless period.
Same on the glass motif - we will need 200 fragments to finally get the whole motif learned? That's insane, especially if the drop rate is similar to what it is for the recipe fragments for xp potions.
I get making stuff take longer to get, but there comes a point where it gets ridiculous.
