Enchanting glyphs not working

Hello, ZoS

I noticed something strange happening a few weeks ago. When I'm buying glyphs from enchanters, I see two glyphs for the same level of enchantment, for example, two glyphs for Flame damage. However, they're priced differently, I think about 9 gold, but they're identical in terms of applied damage. Even the level application are identical.

Lately, though, I can't seem to apply glyphs to weapons or armor. It seems to be hit or miss, where I can attach some glyphs in inventory, but not others, despite being identical in name and level.

I'm currently VR5 doing Caldwell's Silver, and I suppose it's been going on since I started this quest.

Now, pretty much every glyph I find on enemies cannot be applied. I currently have 2 flame enchantments in inventory, but when I go to apply them to my daggers, my inventory says I don't have any to apply.

This isn't critical, as I've not upgraded in a while, but I've been having to use grand soul gems because of this. While I do have plenty, I'd rather just re-apply the glyphs and save my soul gems for the billion times I need resurrecting. ;)

This isn't a critical issue, but if you can offer assistance on what may be causing the problem, I'll try it. PS: I've tried purchasing both the inexpensive and expensive glyphs, but the hit-or-miss applies to both.

Oh, yeah, and one more thing: every so often, I'll get an error message about an ID can't be applied or found, or something like that. If it pops up again, I'll take a screenshot (I keep forgetting I have this option now).

XBox One, NA server.

Thanks for reading and have a great day. :)

I'm not sure how much you know about enchantments so if these are things you already know, ignore them. There are certain level requirements for enchantments. For instance, for veteran levels glyphs are in this order. VR1-3, VR3-5, VR5-7, VR7-9, VR10-14. What this means is say you have a Major Glyph of Health you'll notice the tooltip says this enchantment is for armor level VR1-3. So you need a piece of armor that is in between the VR level 1-3 to be able to apply it. There are also 3 types of enchantments. Armor, Weapon and Jewelry. In the upper right-hand corner of the glyph it should say what type of glyph it is.

This chart can help you understand it a little more if you need more information. This is also very helpful while doing the enchanting daily writs.

I'm aware, which is why it's confusing. As soon as the update patch is applied (and maybe this will fix it), I will take a screen shot both of the store and my weapon/glyph levels.

UPDATE: Well, it seems I can't find a way to transfer screenshots from the XBox One to my OneDrive account, so no pics to show.
