Xbox One Voice Chat STILL Broken

I have tried all of the fixes. Hard reset. Modem/Router reset. Ect. I cant hear anyone, they cannot hear me. This must be fixed soon or I may stop playing, it makes group oriented activities nearly impossible or very difficult.

Error code: Voice chat is unavailable. This could be due to routine server maintenance or a configuration issue. Visit help.elderscrollsonline.com for additional support.

    Yep iv had that message since I got the game right after release on xbox one. As someone who has also tried everything to fix this I hav had no luck. Starting to think the problem is on Zenimax's end and not mine. Im with you though it makes group activities nearly impossible to the point I may just quit. Definately won't buy the dlc unless this gets fixed. Let me know if you find a solution.

    Sure will. Glad to see someone else is having this issue. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

    I wish they would add text chat until they fixed it.

    I agree. Even after they fix it. Text chat is simply more efficient for certain things, and not that technically complicated to implement.

    Could it possibly be a NAT issue?

    Im not having the problem so I don't know for sure what is going on but Xbox is notorious for having voice chat issues with less than optimum NAT settings.

    Try going to portforward.com (ESO is listed in games under The Elder Scrolls Online - Xbox One), choose your router brand and model from the list and follow the steps to open/forward the right ports.

    Thanks for the response but yeah i already opened all of the necessary ports listed for ESO on my router. Still having the same issue.
