I can handle the odd "Booted cause...?" but 4 times in 20 minutes?

"Unable to connect to game server. Please make sure you have a valid internet connection"? As politely as possible what THE!! does that actually mean?

If my internet connection wasn't valid how did I log on in the first place? It doesn't just suddenly change. THE NET DOES NOT WEAR CLOTHES!!!

Yes occasional booting is fine, even expected in some ways, its a lucky day to stay online all day put it that way.

Another small kink? I have logged on to find I am unable to open any doors the "press A to open" option just doesn't want to appear, its goes for a holiday?

I know you guys are fixing many of these issues I am sure. So a small suggestion with the booting can we at least change the message to something like, "Sorry you just got booted, we are having server problems which will be fixed as soon as possible, have a nice day and don't punch the T.V."

    Since writing the above I have been booted another 5 times for the same so called reason. But I still haven't punched the T.V. or thrown my xbox controller

    Between 7 pm and 10 pm well actually this last word I was booted on average ONCE EVERY TEN MINUTES. I am using the XBOX server right?!? If so the reason is not valid. Plus seeming it takes about 1 minute to actually realize your being booted then another 2 or 3 to log back on with the server being quite quiet what was happening?

    I was on for a large portion of the day with this problem barely occurring maybe once an hour or two. Only reason I cannot say if its still occurring is I have given up . I actually might withdraw the ESO fee if this keeps happening, afteral if you pay for a month you want a month.

    now on trying to log back in I am also getting "connection time out"

    I have read other posts this needs a fix alot of people are not bothering to log back in. DCing every 10 minutes is more than a little frustrating.

    have one and yes I shoulda got the game on PC, cause I have never wanted to visit the Knob Head who said this game was ready for xbox

    I have been having this issue for 5 weeks and have tried everything suggested to me to fix this problem but it still persists. even reset my console back to factory settings as a fix but still happens to me every 9 minutes exactly.

    I see this problem in the forum more and more so this needs to be fixed quickly as the game is no longer playable for me. It sounds like microsoft may need to update the disk drives to make this game run better or Zenimax need to find the root cause of this and adjust certain settings on their end to stop this problem.

    to help you can do the following which helped me for a few days,

    delete the local ESOTU data
    clear the blu-ray persistent storage

    these two helped at first before i had to use the third way of uninstalling and reinstalling the game which worked for almost a week.

    It has been very frustrating to buy a game that suddenly becomes unplayable not long after release, i just want to snap the disc in have and be done with the game.

    I am having this issue too. The game used to run fine but over the last 3 days it is getting ridiculous with an average of 1 unable to connect to game server every hour at least. I am on a wired connection. Please fix this or at least acknowledge people's comments and say you're looking into it. Stop ignoring everyones posts.

    It does seem that we are being ignored, either in the forum or from ESOTU support. ESOTU support were helpful at first but after a while they just gave up on helping me. It is ridiculous how we are being ignored and that the issue is left to continue to the point where the game is unplayable.

    How long will you wait to try and resolve this issue Zenimax? Will you wait until so many people have this issue that the servers are virtually empty?

    By that time it will be too late and the game would be a massive failure.

    I've contacted eso support 3 times, first time they sent me to the forums nothing else, second was more helpful said to uninstall the gane and reinstall it. Didnt work so emailed again.... Got told to message xbox one support as its microsofts issue and ask them when a patch is likely to appear, i haven't played the game properly in two weeks, every 5-10 minutes booted off, no support for this and then i see a new dlc coming and its like why do i care? Can't play nothing

    The first 3 emails I sent to ESO support, concerning this, were helpful and sounded like they were trying to help and like they were trying to solve the issue. Strange, the last email I sent to ESO support suggested that there may be a disc drive compatibility issue with the game and that ESO is causing a conflict with the xbox 1 disc drive.

    I actually tried helping them find the root of this cause and they turn their backs to us even more, so much so that they insist Microsoft is to blame.

    How could Zenimax stoop that low?

    I fixed mine on xbox by blocking all voice communication in privacy settings, went from continuous 2 minute kick off to playing over an hour and beyond if I hadn't had dinner to cook after doing this, gave it to another sufferer and worked there.... The issue lies in the voice chat and is either the console makers or game makers issue

    This actually works, but does this disable the voice chat in ESO? As voice chat is unavailable for me now.

    Yes it completely kills all voice chat in eso but the game works, until they fix the issue its the only way it stops the boots. Its annoying as i just got a headset and mic and not used it once yet but it seems voice causes a conflict somewhere i am hoping this is fixed soon so i can chat with my guild i just joined

    Thats a bummer, I was hoping that it wasn't linked to the voice chat in game; but only linked to party and private chat. I am second in command of a guild and need to talk to the rest of the guild, but at least I can play the game until this gets resolved. I remember seeing in another discussion that Zenimax are looking into fixing this.

    Thanks for the helpful fix. That should help them deal with the problem faster if they read this.

    Is your ISP throttling you? That's a legitimate risk, especially during peak traffic times when they need to regulate the throughput for the pipe (or fibre) going your entire service area.

    ESO seems ridiculously sensitive to I/O instability.

    they don't have time to fix the constant booting issue but they do have time to send a message about being polite? I did away with manners after the fark knows how ever many times I have been booted from the game.

    Who ever said the server was ready I formally and politely ask for their address and email maybe a phone number so I can express my gratitude more personally, in the of course nicest and meaningful of ways.

    It does feel like those of us having these issues are being ignored.

    Most of my planned game play is group now, so voice is essential. Sadly, we can't plan group activities as we're stuffed if one or two of us get disconnected mid dungeon or mid PvP.
