It was between 4 and 5 hours last time, but there was the big patch. Not sure if theres as much work this time though.

Maybe because they can't be sure how long it will take? If they give a time and can't make it, folks will just start throwing stones, throwing the baby bottle out of the pram, and generally being horrible.

    Have a great Tamriel day.

The PS4 maintenance took less than an hour. Xbox must be causing a few more problems. Yay us.

PS4 weekly maintenance is tomorrow. Hopefully Xbox maintenance is under 3 hours, would be nice if they gave us a prediction though.

It's usually around an hour. Longest I've seen is just over 2 for a non patch.

Do we get some sort of reimbursement of money or crowns for all the several hours of maintenance time that's made us unable to make use of our eso plus membership. Id have an automated email if I missed a bank payment accidentally. Or do I just get the missed time added on to the end extending my eso plus membership by my time lost? Just saying.

Maintainance is a normal part of any online game. It can't be avoided and there is no way around it. The devs are not accountable for any loss.

Info for those new to a MMO, I know there are lots in the console world, maintenance is scheduled because it is a necessity. Every MMO has weekly maintenance downtime, it is a given with these types of games.

I get a bit upset with lacking Information at times, but I try to keep in mind that this game is incredible (at least for me, personal preference I guess), and sadly most developers never get any kudos, whether the game is good or not.

That said, please be quick as possible, being logged out of this incredible game is nearly unbearable

I just thought of something that would solve a lot of their issues involving people crying about servers down for maintenance. They should just create a load bar. And after they complete one of their tasks then it fills up some. Once it's full then servers are back on. That way no one has to ask how much longer. Think that's what gets under people skin. Not knowing the progress.

And where would this load bar be placed? Servers are down so. There is no communication to the client.

Xidarkflareix I completely agree, that is a great idea. I know personally, lack of info is the only thing I've been down on for this game. If there was some even small way we had a picture of when we could return to our beloved mudcrabbed utopia, it would solve a lot of people's grief.

Seems they go through this every time. We've been with them through no ETA's when implementing their first xbox patch which was understandable and they eventually communicated with us on that but not having the time down or at least an ETA on regular maintenance after doing it a few times seems a little awkward. I understand them not wanting to give a time and then listen to whining if they don't hit it or have to extend it however even a 'guesstimate' would be nice. Hopefully they'll keep perfecting it and be able to offer that in the future.

You could either have it update your load bar on your system each time you try to login. Or since your on this website then they could place it on the website.

I know when they start the maintenance they have a list of what needs to be done. So it would load a little each time something is completed.

Must've been looking at last weeks times. Woops.

Anyway. Seems it's done now. Finally. Almost 3 hours on the dot.
