Harassment in Area Voice Chat (unable to mute or filter)

I wanted to stay out of this post because it's so sad, but it's honestly gotten to the point to where it's annoying.

Here is what an Xbox Ambassador is as per Microsofts Page.

Xbox Community Ambassadors is a program where knowledgeable and helpful Xbox fans can assist their fellow gamers by answering support questions. Ambassadors represent some of the best and brightest users on Xbox Live, and receive official recognition on the Xbox Forums and on the Xbox Community Level site. By making support assists, Ambassadors earn XP for their Xbox Community Level, and can rank up as an Ambassador to earn even more exclusive loot!

And what an Ambassador does.

Ambassadors can answer support questions via chat through one main channels: The Ambassabank of Questions. The Ambassabank is a stream of all available questions, from which Ambassadors can choose what questions they want. Ambassadors can also assist other gamers in the forums by answering questions in the Xbox 360, Xbox One, or Xbox on Mobile Support forums.

I'm sorry Dash, but outside the forum, your ambassador title actually means nothing. Microsoft doesn't care about your report anymore than anothers.

For anyone else curious, here is the section of the Code of Conduct he was talking about.

B. Harassment

• Do not harass, abuse, bully, spam, scream at, threaten or stalk other users or encourage other players to do so.
• Do not encourage harm or violence against people or animals, or promote self-harm in any manner.
• Do not give out personal information of other users (such as real name, physical address, IP address, email address, phone number, credit card number, etc.) in any way. This information could be used by others for illegal or harmful purposes.
• Any non-game-related conversation that takes up a substantial amount of the forum, chat, or in-game chat space and prevents users from finding game-related information may be considered a violation of the Code of Conduct.

Based on your constant ramblings of auctioning bites, and the way YOU are using the Code of Conduct, you are breaking it via spamming. You are also threatening other people with threats of getting banned because you reported them.

I guess I can be like you too and make a senseless report, you're attacking some enemies in game eh? That's encouraging me to harm some animals or other people. I should probably report for you that so you can get banned.

Ya I used to be an Ambassador when the program first started. I wasn't entitled though and they offered us nothing.

It looks like you are talking about the Ambassador on THESE forums. Dash is an Ambassador on the Xbox Forum. Not here.

Oh and I am a veteran gamer as well. As in a Military veteran who is also a veteran. Does that make me special? NO. So neither does your entitled point of view of being an "Xbox Ambassador", "Twitch streamer" and veteran gamer. It does not make you one iota special.

Just clear things up...

First of all harassment is a thing related to culture and also to the social state, someone from Beverly Hills has an other unterstanding what harassment is compared to someone from a "ghetto", the "vatican" or a strong believing Muslim from Mekka. So everyone needs a minimum of tolerance here or should leave any online plattform. I also got chats were (young) people discussed in the Style "Eh Nig** let's kill some bit**es" and the feedback was like "Yeah Motherf***er!".. You might not like it and i would never talk in the same way but in this case it seams to be "common" language between friends.

Also you should never forget age, iam working now for more than 25 years (10 years of this time in the Air Force and still have a military grade) in the IT and got a lot of titles/certifications from companies like Microsoft, Citrix and other related to my job. Make it me special.. Income related maybe, social state.. No, i don't think so. This is a online community and first of all we are all customers who paid the same money and have the same rights. If younger people wants to be a vampire.. Of course they try to bid for it to get the thing they want, i've childs too... They do exactly the same and this is common depending on the age. Show mercy and maybe smile about it..

As long they don't offense or threating you as person... Calm down or contact the support directly to address your issue. Your first posting sounds like "He, iam the deputy sheriff by my own grace and you have to listen! Iam a very important person!", believe me and maybe this sounds hard.. "You are not!" and the feedback here just reflect this.

Threating or personal offense is not acceptable in any way... But currently it doesn't sounds for me like this.

As a follow up, I know alot of you continue to mock my complaints in regards to Harassment on xbox live , code of conduct violations and even the mock the Xbox Ambassador Program. However Xbox Live Enforcment Team did take action on my complaints. Happy Gaming, Case is now closed!

Luckily I haven't encountered any form of harassment or bullying in this game. And I agree with dashx73 that this (and any game really) should be free from any kind of bullying and/or harassment. The thing that irked me a bit though dash, was that you think because you twitch and are an xbox ambassador that you are, in any way, shape or form, special. You help the community. And people like me really do appreciate what you and all other ambassadors do, but that doesn't make you special. I report bullying when I see it happening and harassment, does that make me special too? No, that just makes me someone who thinks A-holes whose prime objective it is to make the gaming experience for others as unpleasant as possible, ARE NOT and SHOULD NOT be welcome in gaming communities.
