How Effective Can Nightblade Medium Armor Stamina Build Heal With Resto Staff?

I managed to put all my DPS skills in my main weapon bar. I do not want to change my main weapon bar, medium armor or attribute distribution. I will like to heal with my second weapon bar using a resto staff. I am thinking if any class can heal with a stamina build using medium armor is a Nightblade because of Siphoning Attacks. I do both PVP and PVE. Anybody tried this before? Any suggestions?

PS: I will probably never get the Vigor heal.

I doubt it will work. your heals will be weaker than a magika dps could do by themselves. Using a resto staff in pvp for the shield might work when you are near death in an emergency but otherwise the shield off a shield charge or brawler will probably be the better choice.

Agreed. Whoever came up with the design should be shot in the foot and only admitted to hospital when he manages to find 3 other people willing to maim themselves the same way in order to accompany him.

Ultimately, any method of entering an enemy keep without breaking down the door is considered an exploit. Thanks for checking!

It will be less than half the amount of healing that a magicka based char could dish out. Whilst its better than noting, its not that useful.

Thank you for the responses. I was expecting this was the case. Ohh well maybe I get the Vigor heal in 2020.

If you wanna "heal" with that build you'll need to do it with Reaper's Mark and Killer's Blade. Between those two (and choosing targets wisely) you should be plenty survivable.
Really we do it without like, the musical instruments. This is the only musical: the mouth. And hopefully the brain attached to the mouth. Right? The brain, more important than the mouth, is the brain. The brain is much more important.

The heal from the twohanded skill Rally is pretty good, the longer you have had rally on, the next time you cast rally you get an instant heal. I can get 8000 heals pretty easily after letting rally run for half its duration, full duration you can crit for about 16000 and thats stamina based.

Rally + blood craze + vigor (+ purifying ritual if templar) + brawler shield = profit

My main weapon is Bow and my skills are: Surprise Attack, Lethal Arrow, Killer's Blade, Dark Cloak, Piercing Mark, and Soul Theder. I am enjoying this setup. I only use my second bar to level up my Werewolf skills when I turn in quests.

If I use Rally prior to the fight and then switch to Bow. Will that trigger the heal and cancel the buffs, or can I switch back to the Two Hander and re-activate Rally when I really need the burst heal?

I am only level 45 and had not tried this yet. Thank you.

PS: The Werewolf healing skill is great even with a full stamina build. This is why I thought some Magicka healing skills, i.e., Healing Ward, will still work fine with a Stamina build.

Rally will continue to heal you when you switch back to bow but not only that you will still have the 20% weapon damage increase making your bow attacks stronger.

even if you were to get vigor, it still would not make you a good healer. stamina based healers will always be inferior to magicka based healers, and NB stamina healers will be especially bad due to their lack of a class based heal.

Stamina NBs yes, but sap essence and funnel health are pretty good as a magicka siphon tank

Answer: Never as well as a light armor wearing Magicka NB with a Resto Staff

I wouldn't recommend offering up your services as the main healer of anything, but it's good for support. A little bit of extra healing in fights could take some strain off the healer. But it should be purely situation-based and not a be-all end-all.
