A bit confused about Nightblade

I just returned and wanted to continue with my Breton NB. But looks like some of NB's skills now use stamina instead of magicka, so how viable Breton is for this class, if I want to be a dual wielding DD? I used to play Breton as it got me slight increase in Magicka pool, cost of spells and spell resistance. But now, with this skill change and spell resistance being equal to physical resistance, I am no so sure any more.
It seems Redguard Or Khajit are the only sensible races for DD dual wielders.

At the moment, you could still dual wield with a magika build if you don't want to be able to regain magika via heavy attacks and you only use your class abilities. You actually get higher spell damage than using staves right now. If you want to use any dual wield abilities, then you aren't going to be able to play a hybrid stamina magika build efficiently enough for any end game content pvp or pve. It's best to focus one way or the other.

It's not spells that cost stamina now, it's just one of their morphs, if you want to play magicka, just pick the magicka morph of that spell. All those magicka morphs are perfectly viable compared to their stamina morph, and usually superior for a magicka build.

I have a Breton Nightblade and play as stamina 2h and bow, it works well, I have three magicka abilities that I use for utility, all my damage comes from stamina/weapon damage/weapon crit

Edit: I should add I pvp not pve

that is what I have done for the past 7 months. only I used DW and not 2H

The extra magicka and spell resistance is of great help. a Medium armor player, with the breton passives, can get close to the spell resistance of a heavy armor player with the right improvements and passives.
