what is best for magic dps character and possably good thieving is avalible in one

whats the best dps character and if one has it good thieving stuff too

Anybody can thieve with a little effort. Level up medium armor. Get some of the sets like nightshade pieces that reduce your detection radius. Then just rob the town silly.

Magicka DPS is a whole different kettle. I think the consensus is spell power > magicka base > spell crit. You want at least a 5 piece light set so you get the spell penetration and spell crit from the armor line.

I'm a khajiit so I don't have any nice synergies with racial abilities. Still works out ok. I play a NB with DW/Destro and use stealth to make up for no shield/surge heal. You can run restro on your second bar and get good sustain/survivability but it's a play style choice. I hate not being in stealth or invisible. I try to burst every attack and then hide get or bug out as quickly as possible. Use the Destro for keep/zerg encounters where having some range is really helpful. Plus I got a masters lightning staff from PvP one time and thought I might as well use it. Fire staff would have been better for the knock back but you do what you have to do.

sorc is pretty beast in the justice system, i have 150k bounty in one day and the guards just cant catch me. bolt escape is king for the king of thievery and murdering.

Just wanted to clarify for the OP, he is saying the Sorc is the best for running away. In all other areas (DPS, Heal, Tank) the Sorc is second fiddle or dead last. IE: Don't play a Sorc it's subpar at best compared to the other classes.

Really only true for end game content. For everything else, Sorc is fine. Sorcerer do well until you hit Trials, AA, etc. Even there, skillful sorcs are viable. They just take more skill than the other classes to be viable. Despite all the whining, I find my sorc is better in 1.6 than before. And if you get caught by a guard, Bolt Escape is the bomb for getting away. Otherwise, all it takes to be a good thief is patience, observation, and situational awareness, so you don't get caught in the first place. I do just fine in full light armor as a thief without buffing any stamina skills or attributes

I would go wood elf or kahjit nightblade + vampire, since all of those have stealth bonuses. 2h or DW for dps, since you already need medium armor for the stealth bonus.
