Why does rune prison have a cast time and petrify not ?

You win. Sorc is the worst class in pvp and should be buffed. But its not a problem for me. I ll reroll to sorc with 1.6

Sure i dont know how healing ward works...i used it all the time with my nb and sorc but youre right.

And i would trade hardened ward based on magicka everytime with gdb. You can have it.

Cleanse is a much better counter for magicka DKs, why waste 2 slots on wards you need to keep stacking when you can just use Cleanse to negate all their dots and heal you at the same time? DKs shut down ranged dps w/ Scales, counter it by shutting down their dot based dps w/ Cleanse.

Healdebuff is the way to go against Dks. All a matter of learn to play

You must have never heard of Cleanse. FYI, heal debuff keeps Healing Ward from healing me too. Let's compare:
DK heal debuffed: Igneous Shield -> Cleanse (boosted heal from igneous) -> GDB (if you still need it)
Sorc heal debuffed: Hardened Ward -> Cleanse -> Healing Ward (pray that the bubble doesn't go on anyone else!)

You know that you dont need cleanse because you cant apply dots/bleeds on absorb shields with 1.6. Dont know if its a bug or working as intended. And i cant use cleanse. its too expensive for me.
And i agree with you that in a 1vs1 no one can kill the oppenent. Dk has reflect and sorc the sustain with absorb shields.

sorcs aren't complaining about the shield, we are complaining about the dumb nerfs the class has gotten

BS because ppl will break through your shields at some point, absolutely guaranteed of your fighting multiple ppl who have a modicum of skill. Not to mention things like meat bags, mark and various other debuffs. I can Cleanse whenever I want in my heavy armor build, it's just about managing your resources/play style.

Also BS, I can't help it if you won't play your class to it's strengths. As a NB you have Cloak to purge dots/force atks to miss to supplement Elude and dodge roll as a stam build. Rally and Vigor free you from needing resto staff for heals which lets you have 2hand for dps and sword/shield for turtle.

Unlike every other class stam builds relying on gap closers, NB stam build cannot be countered by Encase spam, because roots don't stop you from casting Ambush. Even sorcs are stuck Streaking in the direction they face when rooted. As such stam NBs are able to keep high dps pressure up constantly against sorcs.

Agony is pretty crappy, guess what, so is Rune Prison. If you're going to complain, complain about DK's equivalent, Petrify - instant cast, goes through block. Oh wait, what's that? NBs have Fear.
