1.6 how does 3600 CP feel?

I just made a vet 14 template and distributed all 3600 CP. This what the differences in states are, if you don't wear any armor and didn't put in any attributpoints or skillpoints in.
Anybody expierenced yet in combat how big the gap feels between cp rank 0 and cp rank 3600 (both vet 14)?

Just wondering, why is the armor penetration so high compared to spell penetration (focus rating)?

    spell critical seems bugged.

you get +25% through skill and 12% through passive or not?

They're calculated differently from my understanding.

Which addon is that? Srendaars or another? I haven't used any of the stat addons in months.

Considering that's 3600 CP points and at Live we will only have 70, IMO it doesn't seem worth trying to grind CP. If your stats were closer to being doubled that may be something different. Personally, I don't see anything in those values that make me go "I HAVE TO GRIND CP AS FAST AS POSSIBLE".

Did you do a dungeon run before and after to get a feel on if they made that big of an impact?

No way I would try to grind them, but make no mistake, if someone did, they would be godmode.

Another thought comes into play, just HOW long did it take you to place all 3600 of those points?!?!?!?! OMG sometimes the time it takes just to place 5 skill points is enough to drive me crazy.

Most of the benefits provided by CP aren't visible in the base stat page.

It's broken. The champion system will create a wall for newer players down the road. This isn't just a "Veteran of the game" type buff... This is a "I will demolish you and take your lunch money" difference.

Some of these passives have me wondering what they were thinking and which substance was used. Skooma maybe? Hist sap?

Lets consider how long this will likely take:
    3600 Champion Points.
Lets assume 400k per champion point.
Lets assume enlightenment bonus is 1 champion point per day.
Lets assume the optimal exp per hour is 200k.
Lets assume 12.5 hours per day playing while earning optimal exp.

Therefore: 1 day a player will earn 7 Champion Points.
Playing every day with the above it would take 504 days to cap if starting with 70 champion points.

Even if there is an even more extreme player then the above I seriously doubt they will earn the full 3600 Champion Points in less then a year. I would also doubt their sanity if they earned them all in less then 2 years.
    ========================================

But wait what about cash shop enlightenment pots. Lets assume these are in the cash shop at the following values:

1 enlightenment pot = 1 champion point worth of exp bonus. (IE: 100k = 400k)

Now lets assume there is no cap on usage. This will greatly increase the overall time required to cap the full 3600 champion points.

Lets assume the optimal exp per hour is 200k.
Lets assume 12.5 hours per day playing while earning optimal exp.
Lets assume the player is always under enlightenment through cash shop purchases.

It would take 141 days to earn the full 3600 champion points.
    =======================================

The above was extremes though likely not the most extreme a few will attempt. I also doubt ZoS allows the cash shop experience boost to be used without some type of cooldowns.

Keep in mind that to get 3600 is a major no life time commitment. If you could get 1 CP per hour ie 24 in a day. It will still take you what 150 days to reach cap. I mean come on. No one is legitimately going to have that many CP's anytime soon.

Personally, I think this just confirms the switch to horizontal progression instead of linear with the VEt ranks.

You don't need 3600 CP to feel strong. 360 is enough to benefit immensely from the system. I think that counting 3600 CP as the benchmark for ridiculously overpowered isn't a proper judgment.

To reach ridiculously OP status you don't need 3600... Some of these passives are a complete joke with how powerful they are.

2h bugs aside, there's an incredible gap between playing with 70 CP, 360 CP (one tree of each maxed), and again with 3600 CP... a year from now, vets will be untouchable to new players

I agree. Wont take anywhere near the full 3600 CP to become powerful. I expect most builds will be able to make due with much much less to get major benefit. Which actually helps keep the majority of the playerbase on somewhat even footing.

I expect 900-1200 to be the target number of points that will unlock most of what players will want for their particle build. Points spent above their target number will not add a whole lot of value to their playstyle. With DR this means players with 300-400 points wont be greatly weaker then those with 900-1200 points. Its the first few hundred where the power comes from IMO.

To the OP, I don't think Harven's is not yet fully compatible with 1.6 & CP. I notice that in both pics, your elemental resistances are 0, meaning it's not taking buffs from the Lady constellation into account. It seems that this is not yet a definitive end of discussion for CP benefits.
