Will 1.6 Benefit from Separate Dodge Roll/Block Bar?

Hi everyone, I wanted to ask for opinions on this. I think this would be a great improvement in balancing magic and stamina builds. Some other players think it's ok as it is due to armor buffs. What do you think?

    Part of me wants to say yes, but another part of me wants to say no.

    My reason for saying no is that, as a full Magicka NB caster, I use my stamina bar just for block/dodge/break free. If you gave me another bar just for those things, then I'd be free to use my stamina bar for something like Immovable spam. I already use Harness Magicka and Healing Ward....if I were able to also spam Immovable....or even to be able to spam Vigor....I'd be unstoppable.

    Now, I understand the benefits for those who choose to play Stamina builds....and that is why that part of me says yes....because it would benefit them greatly. It's the reason I choose to not play Stamina builds, honestly.

    Very good point ....You would literally have to add a 4th stat ... Stamina Health Magicka and then say something like Parry or Evasion or Dodge to be a 4th pool to spend points on as you lvl (Make this stat the extra stat point sink people would have to use for Dodge/Roll/Block/Sprint). Then you would have to rebalance a whole pile of stuff so that even the little bit of resources in stamina couldn't be used for things like Immovable spam just to make this system work.

    Its doable and would probably balance the game if done right.


    And I see your point for this thread. I do see that stamina users are at a huge disadvantage to magicka users simply because they don't have to double use they're resources.

    I do believe if they get close by lessening the cost of dodge rolling and ability costs along with blocking and so forth it could be very even and balanced. But I don't think it will ever be Perfectly balanced.

    This simple rule is true for any MMO.

    There is always gonna be a optimal because gamers are the ultimate testers. don't look for absolute balance just try to get close.
