It would be fun to see some new CC/survavability tools. I sometimes tend to use lower DPS skills but that has some CC tools for survivability rather than depending too much on blocking or healing. I know some skills offer versions of these but I would like to see more of them. Maybe a specific skill line for combat survivability, low DPS but high stamina cost skills with nice tactical & survival utility. I think they would be useful both in PvE and PvP
Skill suggestions.
Throw dirt - Would work similar like arrow spray or encase blinding targets in front of you for a short period of time. No damage, only blind.
Possible morps effects. 1. Increased crit chance against blinded foes, 2. (smoke cloud) incoming projectiles has a chance to miss. or 3. chance to bypass blocking?
Poison Weapon - Similar like Surge but adds a poison instead of weapon damage.
Average DPS nothing too overpowered.
Possible Morph effects. 1 Hallucinogenic. Poisoned foes has an increased chance to miss. 2. Cramps. adds a strong but short snare and lower damage output of enemy.
Lay trap - Similar like Trap Beast, but would be trap more than one enemy.
Low DPS, maybe with a snare/bleed/unbalance component in morps? It's always good to prepare.
Power Sweep. Low DPS sweep similar like 'Cleave' but with a arc stun/knockback/knockdown component. Good for situations where you get too many foes too close. Morphs could add some damage or other effects.
Hightened senses. Toggle skill like inner light. 100% chance to evade next incoming damage & chance to detect traps. Skill deactivates after attacked and drains XX% stamina. Possible morphs: 1. After attacked add run speed. 2. after attacked add X second incrased dodge chance. 3. increased regen for X seconds.
Skill is designed as a counter for sudden unexpected attacks when exploring PvE or moving around in PVP.
Passives - only working with any survavability skill slotted.
Ligtning Reflexes
increased dodge chance with any survival skill slotted.
Battle ready.
decreased decrease roll dodge/blocking cost.
increased CC time.
Increase duration of snare/immobalize/etc
There's probably more nice skills that would come handy.
