Bow Sorcerer Stamina Sustain?

I'm wanting to build a 2nd character for Woodworking / Enchanting and really considering a Sorcerer.

I've read over the forums and seen a few folks saying that 2h / bow stamina sorc is pretty fun. But, what I'm wondering is how do sorcerers sustain their stamina?

Templars, DK's and Nightblades all have a way of enhancing stamina regen with skills during combat, but I'm not seeing anything for Sorcerer.

Are sorcerers just doomed to be chugging pots to keep stamina up?

I didn't think my hangover was that bad this morning until I spent 10 minutes trying to log into my old Etch-A-Sketch

With a sorcerer you get a stamina cost reduction with "Unholy Knowledge" from the Dark Magic skill line. I think it is the highest cost reduction you get with a passive from all classes.

With stamina cost reduction, which is recommended by many people, I hit a hidden cap as it seems. After stacking a lot of this gear, a ring with 20 stamina cost reduction only gave me 17 reduction on the stamina skills.

So you could choose gear or armor glyphs which give staminia regen, if you want.

But it is true that there is no stamina regen skill in the skill lines of the sorcerer. Compared to other classes you have to think outside the box when choosing a sorcerer. As far ad I know it is the only class that has a stamina based heal and the highest ulimate cost reduction instead of an ultimate generation skill.

I need to softcap stam regen and go as much as possible for cost reduction. There is no button to push, other than pots, to boost stam regen.

Here's hoping that 1.6 will bring Reverse Dark Deal :-P

It could just be the order they do the reductions.

Lets say you have a skill that costs 250 stamina. Then lets say you have 25% reduction with Unholy Knowlegde + Bow line cost reduction, then reductions by 20 for flat amounts (jewelry etc. .)

    (250 - 20) * (1-.25) = 172.5

but if they calculate % first:

    250*(1-.25) - 20 = 167.5

This could be what you are seeing.

edit: so in the first example if you bump flat reduction to 30 (an increase of 10) you only see a reduction of 7.5. In the second example you would see the full reduction.
