Time for Daily log in

Guys, please have some consideration for OP and others in his profession.

In his profession you work a 25 hour shift every day, so with the reset time at 7pm, and having only 24 hours after that to log in without missing a day, he never gets a chance to log in and get his daily rewards. If the reset time was changed to 10pm then he would have 27 hours every day to log in.

You do understand that this would only affect one day? The three hour swift back or fourth would indeed make it possible on that one day to get the log in reward, but it would not make a difference for every other day of the month. So if he really misses the last reward by exactly three hours I can see a merit in his request, but otherwise it really doesn't make a difference.

You do understand they're not serious?

The only way OP can't log in to obtain the days' reward is if the OP can't log in at all in a 24 hour period.

The only way to fix this by the OP's logic is if he moves further away from the Sun.

It's not rewarded at 8 pm EST. It rolls over at 8pm EST.

Not the same thing.

How do you not get a full months log-in if you're logging in every day? If you're not logging in every day, well then thats the root of the problem...not the time.

Log in early morning, or late. There is no reason to change it. If you can't log in once every 24 hours essentially you don't need to get the daily login.

UTC is GMT without daylight saving hours.

The time for change is not relevant for stuff like login rewards if you log in daily anyway.
Its a bit relevant for daily quests, I like to do crafting writs and some other dailies in the morning if I wake up early but this require that the dailies reset early morning.
For daily dungeons you don't want them to swap in the evening for obvious reasons.

No, don't change it. I'm in the mountain time zone and we're normally ignored. This is convenient since it starts when I get home from work. I don't care if it is inconvenient for East Coasters for once.

That's incorrect.

UTC and GMT are exactly the same time. (GMT is a Timezone, UTC is a time standard. But they share the same actual time.)

Nether of them change during the Summer.

In the UK we are GMT through the winter but switch to British Summer Time (BST) in the summer, which is GMT+1 (or equally UTC+1).

I feel like this may have been mentioned once, but it was likely ignored?

It also has exactly zero relevance on anything. Everyone has 24 hours to obtain a given daily reward. The rollover time. Does. Not. Matter.

Change time to 10pm EST

My issue is I play when I get home which is if I work day shift 0645-1900. Night shift 1845-0700. Night shift I turn console on while I get ready and log on. Day shift, I don't want to wake everyone. Due to my position at work I also have to go to the gym after work for 1hr. I don't get home until 0845 or 2045. It just sucks. They could use internet time like in phantasy star online.

+1 to just make everything reset at one time of the day and be done with it. All these different timers make playing the game overly complicated. Have them all reset at the same time please. Everything that has a 24 hr timer or less just resets to once per day at X time (I dont care, just pick 1 time. For the weekly things pick one day of the week and reset them one that day at the daily time.

I am in PST... So I think it would be nice to have it where your time zones affect daily logins!
