Well, I'm not buying anymore Crowns beyond the ones I get from my monthly sub until at least after Blackwood is released and we know have awful or not these proposed changes are, and I don't buy crates and I have like 30 gems left over from when we used to get free crates as log-in rewards ages ago, so not me! LOL.

I'm not really a fan of the polymorphs anyways, so no temptation here.

I'll use it on some of my writ characters and spam the Floral Swirl memento as I run around doing my writs. It's neat, for sure. But I wish it had custom animations. Though, using it with the drunk personality is quite fun :P

I am seriously not liking where ZOS is going with the Crown Gems... Can't believe I am thinking of going back to WoW, but at least I can earn the mounts and pets... If the new Endeavor system is not rewarding enough I don't know if I'll stick around much longer. This is just a bit ridiculous...

I belive if they would have put it up for 2500 crowns they would have tempted more people to buy it.
Just for being something new and for now ''unique'' a lot would have got it despite of they may never use it,but for the sake of having it.

I 100% agree. My wife and I would have both bought it... 500 Gems is about 60 USD+ and a huge portion of players won't pay that for a polymorph. If it was 2500 Crowns I think many people would actually buy it then and in turn ZOS would have probably made more profit...

It'd be one thing if what they're selling was exceptionally well done. I can be okay with paying high prices (within reason) for things I enjoy, especially when the quality is notably high.

It'd be one thing if the quality was a bit less if the price was right. I don't love it, but I can be cool with stuff lacking a few finer touches if it was easy to come by or whatever.

But when you start trying to sell me mediocre goods at elite premium ultra premier pricing... [snip]

I hope the gem exclusive mounts stay 600 gems and don’t go up. I’m waiting for the May showcase before I buy my Wild Hunt Apex Senche. I need to know about the Bloodroot and Winterborn ones. Where are they? 😭

You get 100ish crown gems out of a pack of 15 crates from duplicates, consumable etc breakdowns right? So 75ish crates, which be about 25,000 crowns. Seems like a lot of folks could spend hundreds on it, unless I’m not understanding something?

It is why the mount that costs 2500 crown gems on the rare occasion I see it in the wild, it isn’t wow cool I feel but revulsion at the predation of it.

Based on past items, I had a feeling it was going to be 500 gems and budgeted for it (so yes I have it). I'm very disappointed though since I wanted more spriggan players in the world so we can do all spriggan trials and battlegrounds. My hope is that the Bloodroot Spriggan polymorph and senche are attainable through achievements, so we can do this.

The more likely scenario for 2500 crown gem mounts are whales and people who bough crates every month and saved the gems over the years. There is absolutely no way to justify the cost. I can spend 60 USD on a full AAA game but ZOS wants me to spend 60 USD on a Polymorph that could be modeled in max 2 weeks. 2 weeks of work at 60 USD vs 2+ Years of work for 60 USD. Their expansion upgrade (Non-Collectors Edition) costs less than the polymorph. They're trying to take advantage of impulsive buyers and the price that they're asking for is disgusting.

No new weapons since the game launched 7 years ago, no new classes for years, no spell crafting, massive lurching nerfs, game instability, and THIS is the time they choose to double down on their already insanely high micro-transaction prices?

If you ask me this game is looking more like a whale milking maintenance mode project by the day.

Time to start looking for a new hobby. There has never been a better time for a company with passion for more than short term profits at any cost to come in and make a hell of a new MMO.

What took my breath away was that the 2500 mounts were released at the same time stimmies went out. Like within 48 hours. And someone who had zero crown gems already, well, the cost unless I’ve got the numbers wrong is pretty close to that.

I mean the timing was brilliant, if you don’t mind - well. Anyway.

Decision if I get several nice dresses and eyeshadows, or 1 ploymorph.

Buying for Euro is no option for me (gambling factor, broken state of game on console with 6 weeks ETA).
Maybe will try to get some crates from a crownseller for the spriggan.
But no typical voice/sounds is almost a showstopper.

Crazy high price. I stupidly bought a WH crate pack (trading with gold) to get some gems figuring that it would be 100-200, never again. I'm a sucker.

They could at least put the prices in the showcase when they do this. I really don't get it. There's no point in getting excited about an item if it's going to be way out of the typical player's range.

True enough, it's entirely a guess on my part.. Didn't mean to imply they'd might releasing one of the polymorphs this year. Re-textures have been released over years for some of the pets at this point, so they're not likely in a hurry.
