Random heavy attacks

I was in a trial today and my when I performed a rotation sometimes my character would start to perform a heavy attack after a bar swap.
I'd say about every 2 to 3 rotations a fully charged heavy attack would commence even with my hand off the mouse entirely.
I'm thinking it is my mouse, but it only happens after a rotation, not randomly as I'm walking around town.
Before I look into getting a new mouse, is anybody else experiencing this issue?
Lag? Addons? New ZOS feature?
My DPS was terrible, barely got to 35k, but sustain was great ... I guess.

willjones1122✭✭✭Actually, i noticed this as well... I play on console and just thought it was my controller trigger. It also seems to happen more on my staff wielding characters (or maybe i notice it more due to rotation?)0

✭✭✭✭✭I'd say latency, should start with checking if it spikes / rises when encounter starts there, maybe even just a high one overall due to akatosh knows what.0 -

✭On XBOX, since the last patch - I automatically do 2 Lotus Fan / gap close in succession - even though I am pressing the skill only once.

So two console players have similar issues. That probably rules out addons.
Yes, I'd say I noticed it more on my Mag characters than Stam. Though I've been playing my mag a lot more so it may be just time played. I did see at least one bow heavy though.0 -
Kilcosu✭✭✭I notice it a lot on magicka toons and when I see it I usually block cancel to interrupt the heavy attack to resume the rotation.
definitely feels something to do with staff using though I can't recall encountering it with melee.
