So I purchased the game today, and I logged back into my ESO account I created ever so long ago and applied the code to it. Well now under My Account Summary I still don't see that I have access to the full game or where you'd even normally download it. I had the client and everything still on my old PC so I copied it over no problem and updated it. Then after installing the game when I get to the login screen I get a login error. It's basically saying I'm entering the wrong password or something is going wrong with the connection. Now I know both my username and password I'm entering are correct (I mean common, I'm logged in on here with them) so why is the game not detecting that I have access yet. Here's a screenshot of everything from the Email confirming my account game redemption to the login error and only the PTS showing up in my account. Thank you.

"Purchased it through Steam".. maybe? The launch Steam first and then the game via Steam. Nothing wrong with the connection to the server.

If you had previously purchased The Elder Scrolls Online on Steam and want to link your Steam account to your ESO account, follow the process below:

Check your Steam version of ESO

Before you can link your accounts, you need to ensure you have the right Steam version of ESO installed.
1.Log into Steam and click the Library button.
2.Right-click on The Elder Scrolls Online and select Properties
3.Select the Local Files tab and check Current Content Build ID at the bottom of the page.◦If the version is not equal to or higher than "1380321," you will need to delete and reinstall the game first.
◦If the version is equal to or higher than "1380321," you can skip down to the "Link your ESO and Steam accounts in game" step below.

Uninstall and reinstall your local Steam version of ESO

If you do not have the right version of ESO installed on Steam, you will need to delete and reinstall it.
1.From the Steam Library, right-click on The Elder Scrolls Online.
2.Select Delete Local Content to uninstall your current (out of date) version.
3.Reinstall the game fresh by selecting ESO from the Steam Library again and selecting Install.

Link your ESO and Steam accounts in game

Once you have the correct version of ESO in Steam, you can then link your Steam account to your ESO account.
1.From the Steam Library, select The Elder Scrolls Online and press Play.
2.Allow the ESO Launcher to open, download and apply any required updates, and select Play.
3.From the in-game login screen, select the “I have an existing PC/Mac Elder Scrolls Online account” checkbox.
4.Input your ESO UserID and password and select Login.
5.Select Accept on the link confirmation window.

Your Steam account will now be linked with your ESO account! You can now log into the game and play by simply launching the game from your Steam Library.

Thank you for the responses, unfortunately I did not purchase the game through Steam. I had a direct code that I applied to my account under 'Redeem Code'. You can see here also what I mean. (I blocked the code in-case of security reasons, though it has clearly been used already)
