Treasure map sorting

Like an idiot i opened the boxes in the imperial edition game mail and so used up most of my bank space also they went int the bank and are no longer grouped for race starting zones.
So if anyone has not yet opened the map packs in the mail it would be best if they left them in the mail till they need them
this is a list of which maps go with which faction
So it you like I have already opened them and have them filling your account bank you can make an alt of that faction and have them grab into their bag from the bank the maps in their starter zones hence getting the space back from your account bank

Yes, I still have the packs in my inventory, unopened. They cannot be deposited into the bank while unopened, but at least its only 4 spaces.

If you have retrieved them, I suggest you don't open them except for the area you are currently in.

Mail is auto-deleted after 30 days apparently, so watch out for that.

I opened them because i couldn't put them in my bank while in the "box". But as i already made 3 bank alts, i used 1 for all that stuff, maps, rings or mara, extra pets, and the like.

Would have been better to drop the whole "box" of maps in the bank but doing it this way didn't hurt much.

Omg I totally did the same. Thanks for the list!

One of the things I did to save space was store the maps on a newbie character. The character is parked at a bank so I can grab the maps whenever needed. If you're doing the same I recommend giving that extra character a name that very clearly reminds you that they're the "map mule"; this way you'll lower the risk of accidentally deleting the content.

It would have been better if each created character had their own friggin maps! This shared bank maybe seemed like a good idea for some things but for the starting items it is very poorly designed. Every new character should just get new starting character items and have them bound if sharing them with your other characters is a problem. MMORPG 101.

Wish I had known they were in non-transferable containers, would have pulled them out of my mail on my mule alt. Now the only way to get them off my main would be to open them, and have them take up 7x the space.

I put my maps in the bank without opening them up. I only take out a map if I am in the zone.

Yes I missed the fact that you could take one map at a time out of the container... The info I posted was for folks that wanted to recover from that error

I just upgraded to the imperial edition, but do not see any mention of maps in my mail... I just got the horse and crab. Did maps get turned off in recent weeks?

The maps are part of the Explorer's Pack that was only available to pre orders.

The ability for the player's characters to join any alliance, no matter which race you choose

Bonus treasure maps that will lead the player to loot

With the launch of the game, this featured promotion has ended. It is no longer possible to receive the Explorer's Pack and the items it contained.
