I've only done 2 of 99 daily logins and there's only 92 days left.
Didn't save reroll (if reroll can be done for seasonal challenges).
So my only choice is to compete with everyone else spending hours running overland in the three zones trying to kill everything because no delves, public dungeons & arenas don't count <insert angry face here>
It isn't fun & I don't get why I've been doing daily crafting writs on 14 characters and earning gift boxes plus some ToT and zone dailies which have given me Gift Boxes but that doesn't count for the challenge?

Rerolls don’t work on seasonal challenges. They are for weekly challenges only. Feedback was given on PTS that they should be named transparently. You’re not the only person to wonder (even on the forums today alone).
The 99 days is there to ensure it covers a whole season. It is not meant to be an accurate reflection of how many can be gotten this specific season. All of us will run out of season before we get to 99. They have this listed as a “known issue” and will consider feedback on it.
Did you complete the Jubilee seasonal challenge? It’s pretty easy to get 50 boxes fast, and you can only earn that challenge reward the once. Your daily writs on 14 characters would have had it completed on day 1. Once you hit 50 boxes for the event and get your TP for that challenge, it’s over.

I spent 30 min killing "foes" in one of the Wrothgar public dungeons and got ZERO in the tome "1,000 foes" challenge. WHY?
I seem to remember, there was an endeavor for killing foes in West Weald when it came out and someone said that killing enemies in the public dungeons didn't count because the public dungeons aren't considered part of the zone, according the the game code. I could be misremembering.

Thanks for your reply - doublechecked and the Jubilee Challenged is actually claimed so yeah I completed it.

Doesn’t this mean you’ve finished that challenge already? And I think Gina made a statement somewhere about ZOS knowing that no one can get all the way to 99 sign ins this season and explained why it read that way.

Yeah it does mean that, as I've since noted above. So if 99 sign ins is reading the wrong way does that mean it can be done despite what it says or that that challenge is completely invalid?

I will say though I have one to kill the boss in Depths of Malatar, Blessed Cruicble or White Gold Tower. Have to do it three times to get credit
I did Crucible and WGT twice and only have 2/3. So either it just bugged on me, or even though it says or you have to do it each one.

But this is not to many for 90 days...this is SEASONAL task. SEASONAL. Not daily, not weekly, SEASONAL.
People just love to whine about everything.

If you do him solo, that would be really helpful. But since everyone is forced into three specific zones, the WB is dead after a few seconds so it still takes ages to finish.

I had this challenge, twice. We ran Depths of Malatar, killed the Symphony of Blades boss and did not get credit for it, on either challenge. Went to WGT after that and got hit by the bug where there's a door that that won't open.
Love this game, but I may be done caring about rewards and currencies at this point.

Just came in here looking for an answer, thank you!!
Glad it will be fixed
Nothing says heroic fantasy rpg, than kill every creature you can find. So no thanks.
twisttop138 wrote: »I distinctly remember there being a fuss about this when something like this came up for a weekly Endeavor (or was it a Golden Pursuit)?
There are three major problems here:
First, and most importantly: The overland restriction is horrible, since the last time you did this, it basically depopulated those zones of enemies and people were complaining about not being able to find enemies to kill. It makes no sense to exclude instanced content within those zones, esp. private instanced content like dungeons or arenas where players would not be competing for kills with other players (this could've been a good excuse to run vMA a few times, except that doesn't work). Right now, it forces players to compete against one another for kills, and that's incredibly frustrating.
Second: At least with Endeavors or Golden Pursuits, you can choose to do an alternative objective. Or with weekly challenges, you can reroll them. But this one? There's no reroll, no alternative options.
Finally: Why is it kill 1000, claim 1x, instead of kill 100, claim 10x? I thought that the whole point of the multi-claim system is to give people gradual progress instead of large unwieldy lump-sum all-or-nothing affairs?
And my burning question, @ZOS_Kevin, did anyone at ZOS play-test this challenge? Or read any of the player feedback the last time you had this as an Endeavor? Because it sure as hell sounds like the answer is no.
Sorry, I'm still at work and haven't been in game yet. This is a challenge you can't reroll? Like the one with opening boxes from last week? Also, we got new challenges today? I had hoped they'd roll over on Tuesday, just fine my own sanity since that's when fallouts weekly stuff rolls over. Not that that's a huge deal. Oh man I can see this getting bad in those zones.
