That would be cool I think.
Just do it like vampire or werewolf jump positions. To change my DK let's say to a Necro id have to have another toon leveled to max in Necro, if we need some sort of block. Personally just selling one is fine with me.
For years everyone shot down alliance swap with these same arguments and last I looked the sky never fell so who cares. Just a bunch of people who think they know "fair" trying to dictate what others should do or want. This aint got nothing to do with you. Ita between Microsoft and my wallet. Mind your business. If you wanna level an alt go for it. I aint stopping you. My time is more valuable to me then what I assume would be around $50.
Ezabi should get it anyway.
I'm in the 'No Class Change' camp. The day I can't be bothered to level a new character is the day I know it will be time to move on to a new game. Part of the joy of creating a new character class is learning the nuances of that class and experiencing the game at lower levels all over again. People think class change tokens will reinvigorate the game for them but it won't, it's already too easy to level a character and it's the challenge of a game that keeps most people interested.
If they do decide to implement it, I predict a hoard of people at level 50 that have no clue how to play their new class and then the forums will be full of posts complaining about 'fake <insert class here>. And alternatively people that just changed their class will be complaining that they can't find groups or are being kicked from groups because they've been accused of not knowing how to play their class. And cue the 'pay to win' posts as well.
Flame away but that's my two cents after observing a few years of posts on these forums.

The level of access this provides surely wouldn't be cheap.
10,000 Crowns? 20,000 Crowns?

Ideally 5k, nothing more than 10k. There are people like me who arent going to buy skill lines/skyshards however would be willing to buy class change token, opening up a new market for ZoS. I would see this as a win-win considering the amount of people in thread who want a class change.

Generally when crown store items are combined, it is the cost of all items, with a discount to make it worth it.
Changing a class is essentially combining all of the below to get the end result.
Skyshards (up to 50 Skill Points worth)
Skill Lines
Scrolls
Mount Training
Race Change (Potentially as your new class may also include a new role and the previous race may not be suited for it)
If you add up all those things, and tack on a generous 20% discount, might come out to the cost. 10k-20k might not be unrealistic.

Youre right it isnt. I have several chars, all of them lvl 50 and geared out.
But you know what is difficult and extremely time consuming?
- Getting 110+title
- just go for those plan to use on the new character
- Gathering 30k+ achievement points
you already got them on the first one, no need to get on both
Finding and reading 3k+ lorebooks
Only read egnough for mageguild lvl10, still long but not as much
- Learning the majority of style books
- Learning 500+ furnishing plans
- Researching every trait
Uses your NB as your crafter, most poeple i speak to only craft on one character also the the outfit station work for the whole accout
- Maxing out your mount
Ok this on is long and really useful
- PvPing and lvling up your rank
If you mostly pvp it will go up on its own
- Playing for almost 250 days 5959h
You speak like you are starting over wivh is really not the case you still have everything you earned and still as the same value

I have 8 characters and I agree with the cat kidnapper...I can't be ***ed making any more characters and levelling them with everything, Mage's guild, Psijics, Undaunted etc. I've done more race changing than character development because it's long and annoying at this point. Also the fact that the skill lines mentioned above can be sold in crowns, this really pushed the motivation to grind right down.

I've been playing other MMORPGs lately and many of them do allow class change. But if you could class change in ESO then ZOS would lose money so they encourage the alt-itis fever.

Nah, not wanting to repeat all the content that goes into a main two times is not lazy,...
Having the time in your life to do all that goes into a main two times is lazy.
