Insanely long loading screens?!

I thought this was supposed to be fixed after the (supposedly) performance patches? Yet I'm looking at 3-5 minutes loading screens sometimes. Used to be a lot better the heck is going on?!

    Very long compared to usual. Even getting loading screens for things that don't usually have them, like merchants buildings etc.

    Yup, I am taking ages to load anywhere and I have obnoxiously fast internet. So certainly ins't on my end.

    After today's maintenance I get incredibly long loading screens when changing zones. I just came to the forum to check whether or not I am the only one.

    Yeah after today's maintenance I haven't had a loading screen under a full minute, most are 2-4 minutes. Done my writs and I think that's all I'm going to do today.

    Lol, just as I was writing this I got a loading screen so long I timed out and got kicked to login screen. Don't know what they did and I can't tell if it has helped with the desync/input lag issues. Nor won't I as I'm not staying long enough to fight anything.
    Guess that's one way of fixing things.

    Yep loading screens are insane today. Taking forever to log to all my characters. Also the traders are so slow. Just really garbage performance overall.

    Long load screens, kicked out during character swap, sluggish to respond, emails take a long time to come in.... all after the patch maintenance today.

    best quality assurance ru. u guys should feel ashamed. the only one that receives attention is your crown shop. it's is getting worse from patch to patch. i really lack my words lol

    Did you check your internet connection or reset your router? mo$tly it i$ a problem with your internet connection and not with the $erver

    I agree, my ping is getting worse and worse. But i might have a solution. I just bought some crown crates and voila, no loadingscreens anymore. They totaly disappeared.

    Mine are endless. I have to brute force leave and relog. Who knew make a simple turn in the crafting area could be so deadly.

    I got only around 45s to 2min loading screens. Annoying, of course but not near 8min+ level, yet.

    edit: Just to clarify, the main problem being it's taking forever to change characters because of loading screens and/or black screens in between relogging.

    MiniMari actually had to end her stream bc the game kept crashing today. I'm also facing long loading screens.

    I can't even get to the character screen. It just has an infinite loading screen. I've tried deleting my launcher and redownloading, repairing, etc. I can't even get into the game to make a character selection. My internet is great, drivers updated, etc.

    Yet another reason to re-examine the Hireling delivery timer and completely separate it from login and mail.

    Atleast sofar the promised preformance updates afther redownloading the whole game, are working amazing /sarcasm...

    In all honestly the 1st week of redownloading the game it was super quick as in login in and loging out was in mere seconds (atleast for me), and week afther week afther week, it runs worse and worse and it feels like it takes even longer than before the redownload timewise. Like there is a switch turned off to speedup the loading / login in of the game.

    FYI doing daily writs on +17 chars is not nice now and very very anoying. Login in and login out costs more time than the writs itself.

    ( i am just playing a second game atm on my second computer screen while doing my daily writs in Eso, cause its takeing so long this is also the case before this patch, its just that bad for a while now.)

    The issue seems to be resolved.
    I didn't experience any issues in the last hour(normal loading screens, not longer than usual).

    i don't remember it being so bad long ago but since came back week ago extremely bad wait times and today's patch didn't seem to change it

    Yep, I have yet to see a character loading screen since the patch, just an endless loading screen.
