I immediately get an ESO crash with the standard, "What were you doing when ESO crashed?" dialog box. I am running Vista 64-bit with DirectX 11. I know that the new version of ESO is supposed to require DirectX 11 and I had no worries because I have DirectX 11 installed. But now I am wondering if ESO will just no longer support Vista, even if you have DirectX 11 installed?
Obviously, the live server and prior PTS rounds have presented no problems.
Windows Vista was one of the worst OS that Microsoft put out. You will get a lot better system performance by upgrading it to Windows 7 at the very least. The longer you stay on that OS, the less performance you will get from your existing system.

I'm a programmer, and at my company, we actually support Windows XP, Windows 7, and up. But guess what? We don't support Vista even though it is newer than XP. There's a reason for that.
