PS4 Controller on PC ?

Just wondering if only the Xbone controller works or I can play with PS4 controller ?

I play with a PS4 controller occasionally using the external program DS4Windows. It works just fine.

The new Gamepad mode supports controllers that use Xinput. I don't know anything about PS4 controllers, but I guess you could check the specs somewhere and find out if PS4 uses Xinput.

My Xbox360 controller works great, once I got rid of Xpadder. Of course, the Gamepad UI leaves a lot to be desired. I constantly switch to PC mode to take advantage of add-ons.

Ps4 controller needs external programs to run, as mentioned above.

I just use a wired 360 controller on my pc.

If you use the new Controller UI with PC, all you need is InputMapper to configure the PS4 controller to be seen as Xinput... the PS4 controller is NOT an Xinput controller.

Also, you do have to install the XBOX 360 controller driver in order to get your PS4 controller to appear as a XBOX Controller so InputMapper can map it correctly. Even then, not all buttons are function on the PS4 controller when mapped as an XBOX controller- specifically the touchpad and the PS buttons do not work.

I gave up using the Controller UI because of the amount of screen real-estate taken up by the UI... the loadout bar icons are HUGE in comparison to the PC UI. All in all, I went back to using my PS4 controller utilizing DS4Tool and Xpadder with the PC UI.

Just curious what you use to view the game. Computer monitor, or what? I've been playing the game on a 55" TV with a controller, and could barely see the various screen elements. While not without flaws, Gamepad mode has made everything MUCH easier to see. If all my add-ons worked, I'd never switch back to PC UI.
