First day back after a month break, and.....

I like inflicting pain on myself, so I Qed for a rando Vet... ( I only run normals if the party, are all on training wheals ). Usually I can tell by the first mob pact if we will live... And we got Layer of Marzipan >.<
Group was okay. DPS was a little low. I was 55is % of the total DPS, which is fine. It took 3 rounds to kill Azureblight Cancroid. When I looked at recap, I saw that the healer assisted in DPSing (more then they should have.. But thats okay, since we would not have survived if they didnt).
Fourth Boss Maarselok, was ... uhg. First phase was fine, second phase we wiped. Tank was running around with the Lurcher trying to squonch the beetles. While intermediately running in and out of the stranglers. This tactic confused me, since this wouldnt allow the DPS to burn it down ( I didnt think the tank could hold multiple Lurchers, but whatever). After about 5 mins of killing the Lurchers and going WTF isnt the dragon dropping. I noticed that Selene was on her back... And then again... And again.... So I dropped AOEs, hit a couple of beetles, and ran back in. Tank died.... Popped some beetles, ran back in. Everyone was dead *sigh*
At this point, I was called out for not knowing what I was doing? From the other DPS that likes to stand in red and die. And tells me what my job is.
And then I remembered, why I took a break.

how is a guaranteed facepalm bad group random? sounds more like a guaranteed group to me!Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.3 -

✭If I remember correctly, all you need is stay alert, and just run and tag touch the beetles while focusing on adds. The beetles pop themselves if you touch them.1 -

I think the point is. Iv done everything in this game. All content... But I still like the game. What I dont like are people that are sub par, blaming stuff on others. And it might not be their fault. They might think they are good. But when a simple mechanic keeps a party from progressing. And instead of trying to figure out what was wrong, you go strait to BLAME, well, that says something.

mattaeus01b16_ESO✭✭✭✭✭I mean. Why do they make Random Vets a thing, if they have pug breaking mechanics in them? A good 1/4 of them I can solo. Most of them Iv 2 manned. But here, we have decent DPS, good heals (who also DPSs) and a tank that can taunt. and its a poop fest!Player 1 "You all suck, dont you know how to play this game?"

I wouldn't be able to do any Vet content if the random queue was taken away. Not may guild members are on at the same time as me, because I'm in the opposite time zone.
I will hang around for a while and try and teach people the mechanics if they don't understand what they are, most of the time it isn't too bad, other times its really bad.
Just take the good with the bad!
