So i respeced my guy ti a healer like 2 weeks ago and relised when i made the staff i didnt enchant it. But i have no idea what would be considered good on a resto so was hooing someone could steer me in the right direction
Most people I know go with a Magic Restore enchant, healers always need more magic back. Weakening is another good one. I am not sure if the Spell Power one would work like you want it to on a weapon, better to put that kind of glyph on Jewelry.
What you could do is make white base glyphs of a few different kinds, try them all out, see which one you like and then make that one in Purple or Gold.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Like the previous posts, restore magicka is very effective. If you're not healing you should be heavy attacking, which will give you about 10% of your magicka back per attack.
It depends. Your first decision will be between fire/shock/frost enchant and restore magicka enchant.
Why an elemental enchant you may ask ? Because this enchant restores 3 times the amount of magicka a magicka enchant restores, when you use this enchant on enemies that are affected by elemental drain. If you don't use elemental drain, go with restore magicka.
But since magicka enchants are still very underpowered, you might want to go for more support. A glyph of weakening that reduces enemies spell and weapon damage is a decent choice. Or simply use a glyph that increases your own spell damage, as this will also make your heals stronger
Good luck.

Auri-El is my lord,
Trinimac is my shield,
Magnus is my mind.
It's been said, but my main is a healer. I've healed all trials, and have the achievements for no death runs on all dungeons as well as speed runs achivements. I've gotten all of these as a healer.
With that said, I would use the asorb magic enchant. When resto is fully maxed and you do a heavy attack you restore a lot of magic, this enchant helps quite a bit for pulling in more magic, and helps a lot on the road to being a good healer. You shouldn't need to use it but having it there when needed is always good to have.
I also used nirnhoned trait before it was changed. So I may suggest using defending on your staff, but If not then the new powered trait is good (7% more healing on yellow staff I believe)

Yes if you are very low on magicka otherwise you're DPSing and adding group support.
Please don't be the guy who spam healing springs/ BoL 24/7 then heavy resto attacks.
I'd aggree with the other comments regarding the enchant.

Usually I use a Restoration Staff (backbar) to channel the heavy attack for Magicka return. The magicka return enchant is really nice!
It procs on light attacks you weave while casting other skills too so it is really helpful. I recommend either the magicka return or stamina return (for roll dodge/CC break) enchant!
Glyph of Absorb Magicka for your restoration staff. Für your destruction staff (in general the weapon for your second skill bar) get a Elemental Damage enchant or this new enchant to proc a weapon and spell damage increase for 5 seconds.
Debuffing enchants might be nice, but usually this already happens by tanks and/or by your Elemental Drain and in a usual raid environment boss resistances will be lowered to a minimum already anyways.

Sometimes the prey turns and nips us... it's a small thing.
So let the snow flakes and unicorns dance alone until they melt or vanish from existence, we will finish up with those smart enough to stay in the glowing circle of love.
Sorry to necro this thread but I just came across it while searching for advice on resto staff enchantments. This is gonna sound stupid but can someone clarify what it means to be a "target" of resto staff abilities? I mean, the crusher enchantment for example "reduces the target's physical and spell resistance" so why would I want this on my resto staff where the target of those staff's skills are my allies that I am healing...? Are enemies somehow getting tagged by my enchantment procs even when my skills are literally not affecting them? Am I not understanding how enchantments work?
I was really confused for a second when I saw I had already commented here but had no memory. Some tips have changed a little lol
The enchant procs from the heavy attack. Generally you should be heavy attacking the main boss, not ads, so the crusher enchant will affect it. It will apply the debuff for the entire group to exploit, increasing damage overall.
