Eso causes PC to freeze up if I alt-tab

The game runs great, but sometimes when I alt-tab to do something my system will be extremely sluggish and slow it literally takes 10 seconds for a piece of response. All the meanwhile,

For example, I alt tab out to open firefox (or any program) and as soon as it opens its near-frozen to the point if I exit by clicking the X in the top right, the program takes 10 seconds to respond to the click. If I tried dragging the window around, it would take ten seconds to move a tiny bit in the direction I dragged. Usually I get mad and reset, but if im patient enough I can close whatever program it was and get ESO to open back up, where its running perfectly fine as it was before I alt-tabbed. This doesnt happen all the time, but I cant really use any programs when it happens or see any content displayed as if it was whited-out for program not responding.

I have the same exact issue, except instead of becoming extremely slow to respond, my computer just locks up and reboots on it's own. Without fail, I get the same exact bsod error code upon entering Windows again.

Your problem is Windows 10, or that ESO is not Windows 10 friendly. After updating to Windows 10 from 8.1, I started having exactly the same problem and the only solution was changing it to Windowed Fullscreen. If it was on the normal Fullscreen mode, doing a Alt-Tab and going to the desktop would be extremely painful. Everything on the desktop would be slow like ESO was taking 100% of all resources while it was running in the background. Now I'm not sure if this problem is happening with other games, but Microsoft and the game developers needs to get this corrected if so.
