As a long time crafter, I can tell you there are some expensive mistakes I've made that make this one look cheap (looking at you mr alt with 300k worth of rare motifs meant for my main). Or at those (multiple) times I did an entire set of blacksmithing master writs upgraded all the way to purple with level 1 mats. Spoiler. You don't get all your upgrade mats back then either :P
Especially with crafting, ya gotta look past these bits, learn from them, and try to avoid repeats if at all possible.

Tried it. Horrible performance, and as a healer, terrible idea. I was attacking keep with a group. Around me was around 25 people, but I could heal only 8 or so, because the rest of my group were near another wall, and players near me were unhealable. So, I suggest another test. One where dps could only damage players of their own class. Like wardens can only damage wardens, but not nb. Less calculations this way, right? And it would feel almost exactly like healers playstyle now.

The only true argument is the fact that those sets can be placed on multiple targets if each target is targeted because it is a single target ability that procs it.

I can use it twice and purge 6 effects which in this meta can be applied with 1 poison injection at the cost of 2700 of my opponent's main resource. Will I purge the right effects?
Who knows, but there is no way I'll get enough mag back to handle the next procfest when it inevitably follows on cooldown (probably in 6-10 seconds, which no NB using PI from range should have a problem stalling through).
Assuming I still have room for those on my bar, I'll have no dark deal/streak on sorc, no frag shield/cauterize/volatile (so no decloak) on dk in the meantime. So GL if some old-timer hits you with, heaven forbid, actual abilities. No realistic way to do that without taking tons out of other stats.

I have delt with people making fun of me for physical imperfections for over 30 years. I learned a long time ago that the best way to deal with it, was to ignore their commentary...because what they were saying was not true, it was just being said to be hurtful. Yes, it is definitely true that on a personal level it's better not to let your welbeing depend too much on what other people do and say, and generally speaking not to let it depend on things that are beyond your control.
On the other hand, even if you cannot not stop people from insulting you, and can try to ignore them, it still matters to know they are the ones doing wrong.
And so, if only to keep a notion of what is and is not acceptable, it is worth to call people out on bad behaviour. What the OP experienced is something parents, teachers, employers etc. would not accept in "the real world". Why should we let it slide because it happened on-line?

I played for a few minutes over the weekend and the performance was poor. I was at a resource ( only one other person near me ) and had a hard time trying to get skills to fire off.
