It's actually much more common, even now, for video game fashion to be based on old school gender norms. And anyway, none of ESO's costumes are intrinsicly male or female, right? They're just costumes that anyone can wear. ESO gives you that freedom to make your own choice.

I don't see where there's "courage" involved in making gender-specific outfits, which is in fact very mainstream and traditional. It actually takes more courage and defiance to allow male characters to wear dresses, because it still makes some people red in the face to see things like that. 50 years ago, we would be having the same conversation about women being allowed to wear pants, which is normal now, but used to be very controversial. Times change

And IDK what you mean about BioWare, because I definitely want to see Morrigan's dress on Alistair ... purely for the sake of fashion science. And Mass Effect had many gender neutral civilian outfits a la Star Trek

So, I ended up buying this from my free monthly Crown reserves (so no loss). It actually looked good on one of my characters. However, as soon as you run, the crotch flap kinetics kick in and the damn thing starts flipping up in the air and slapping you in the face. Seriously ZOS?
