I called it Litterbox Simulator too. Haha. I think I just hate cleaning the litterbox so much, it doesn't take much to trigger me. Lol. Some of those rocks look like little cat poopies.

So, how many people still don't know that Harrowstorm spawns are random and the fastest way to do them is to ask in zone where the active one is and go there?

I've had plenty of cases where I've asked multiple times in zone chat where the active storm is, only to be met with silence. So while I'm porting around trying to find it myself, I'll spot it in the distance and start riding (or running, on my alts that had Rapids taken away from them by ZOS) in that direction only to see the sky clear and a group of players riding towards me at the wayshrine.

So I wait 15 - 20 seconds after they have all ported away, and ask again in zone chat where the storm is. Surely they're still en route and not too busy to answer, right? Wrong. I'll start porting around again, find the storm, and get there to find the same folks have almost finished off the current storm. If I'm lucky, I can get in a couple hits and get credit, but often times I arrive too late.

While contemplating all this, it occurred to me why a coordinated group has no interest in telling folks where the storm is. It's quite likely that they might think that I (or any other random person in the zone) would be the guy who doesn't know the mechanics, and they don't want some clueless person running packs of trash around, training shrikes to their location, whacking on the wrong pike and spawning extra bosses, killing their stunned ghosts, or what have you.

In the same way that some PUG dungeon groups are hampered by the play of certain individuals, the overland version of a mechanic-ized dungeon (the harrowstorm) can also be made more difficult than it has to be. The only difference is that there's no vote kick available at these public events, so you're stuck with whoever shows up.

If I understand the suggestion correctly this will never ever happen. It seems that the OP is asking that for a houseguest sold in the crown store to offer a quest unique to that individual player.

That would lead to possibly thousands, and even hundreds of thousands of additional quests zos would have to build. Besides the facts it would be prohibitively expensive for obvious reasons, Zos does not have the manpower to create more quests than they do in several years merely for a single crown store item.

Leashing on mobs has always been a pos in this game, and its still bad after the "fix" they put in a year or two ago. Used to be worse believe it or not, but its still pretty awful. You can actually get stuck in a never ending cycle of trash never completely de-aggroing, because they tag team aggro/de-aggro. Because mobs will aggro if you do damage to another individual in their group and aggro as a collective but don't de-aggro as a collective, you can actually have something come up to you, de-aggro, then its little buddy who just got aggro'd because its group mate was aggro'd comes up to you, de-aggros, but not before the original aggroee has reset and now re-aggro'd because his buddy is still aggro'd. This can go on and on forever.

I thought you were talking about pvp in cyrodiil. Where a guy hits you and you try chasing him across the map or around trees and boulders.

Also annoying. Especially when they attack you when you give up the chase just to start running again.

Another option would be to make enemy bodies lootable. For dolmens and geysers we get two opportunities for decent loot: the final boss and the chest/shell. And you can get a little loot from some of the lesser adds. The only thing you can get loot from at storms are the blobs and they disappear quickly. At least put some stuff on the final boss!

Come on everybody. Stop the BS.
Even the most basic file manager out there has an option to automatically rename already existing names into "thing1" "thing2", etc...
And since you can already change your character names (with tokens) and your game @ID, it means that the tools for spreading that change across all databases are already there.

I don't care if ZOS merges or doesn't merge ESO megaservers, but if they don't do it, it's definitely NOT because of "overlapping names".

You do realize the data associated with the character is already on the server. Changing the name of the character is easy because all the associated data is already there and is linked to the character by how the server identifies the character not by the name we choose to give that character. Transferring a character is a whole different animal. All those associations also need to be transferred making it not just a name change.

it is bad enough that we do not have a group finder for arenas or trials, or at least some kind of room where we see and accept people in a group. You can hardly find players to do content, sometimes groups cancel the gathering because they can't find a tank. Meanwhile in another instance of a map, people are searching for groups in the zone chat.

a guildie asked me in guild chat for a tank, i joined the group today and we needed one more healer, I asked the group leader to ask in zone chat, i saw no messages from him. He said what am i talking about, he asks every minute. When i joined his group i was asked to join his instance but declined. So this makes it clear that chat is separated by instance. Can chat be not separated by instance? to make it easier for people to talk and find groups?

and the "make groups with your guild" excuse is worthless, not all of us are good enough to be in active pve guilds, and those guilds anyway have strict schedules when they are online and do activities, guildies are not all the time available to do whatever content the rest wanna do.
