Why are the Alchemy and Enchanting stations always backward when going to placing them?

Are they being coy? o:)

    Blacksmithing is backwards too. You don’t notice it until you place it, use it, and realize that you character is standing opposite of where they should be.

    I noticed it with the BS station, too. Also, the dye station is backwards when initially placed. I don't recall if the outfit station is, as I only have one and don't recall how it faced when placed.
