Class isn't going to matter. PvP is going to be stacks of 35k HP SnB res bots sitting there blocking and healing until one side outnumbers the other enough to force flip the flags. It doesn't matter how strong Onslaught pen or Backlash crits are, solo kills pretty much won't exist anymore. You won't even be able to call it a tank meta, because that makes it sound like there's some sort of war or people dying, this is a pillow fight meta.

Ain't no one gonna have the sustain for that. But luckily there are proc sets to do all the work!

They only increased the costs of damage abilities, not blocking or healing, so sustain will be no issue if your only goal is "not dying." With no viable DoTs or defiles to keep an enemy's health bar down, you'll need 40k instant burst just to kill the average tanky zergling, anything less and they'll instantly be back to full, over and over again.

The DoT nerfs in particular are a massive buff to "hold block" which already saves a disgusting amount of potatoes and should've been gutted long ago. While DoT proc sets like Viper and Sheer Venom are now stronger than ST class DoTs, they're still really weak. You're right though that ability nerfs will see more people trying proc builds.

From actually testing my stamblade on pts. The only ability getting nerfed is poison injection, which still has its execute use. My sustain is not getting nerfed at all, besides the new moon acolyte set that I will be using and will give me +180 WD. Plus my stamblade does well now with this dot patch(poison injection is my only dot) as long as I am playing good. Maybe wont be the strongest. But a good stamblade will be a force to be reckoned with next patch. Mark my words.
