What if... Game of Thrones MMORPG

Hi,

I started watching Game of Thrones 2 months ago and I thought about that multiple times. What if someone create a MMORPG in GOT Univers (Westeros)?

What would you like in a Game of Thrones Game?

I think it could be fun to battle for the throne, but I don't know how it could work, because you will need an army (other player), but there will be some traitors (who doesn't want to be king?). I think the game should give awards to people who are not king too.
Do you think it could be great to live in a house and expend cities or it will be too much lol. Winterfield will be too big after a couple of months with thousands of players. What should be the role of the king? Start a war or make peace with everyone?

Will you join an army? Will you be a simple peasant (Cities will need foods)?

Do you think a GOT game should be Singleplayer only with a great storyline and open-world (The Witcher 3) or an MMORPG?

I have the first four books and the first four DVD sets... I don't think it could ever be made into an MMORPG or even a single player game.

Everyone would have to kill everyone else; everyone would have to have sex with everyone else; everyone would have to betray everyone else... The game would have to be completely about subterfuge within subterfuge...

Otherwise, it's a great story... with some great characters, Peter Dinkage in particular.

I was thinking that when I read the title. And if you survive for 6 months you get killed anyway.

No thanks. I've seen enough major licenses and franchises turned into MMO's that bombed for 1 lifetime.

If it was set in the Old Valyria times when every bugger had a dragon and magic was everywhere it would probably work

if thats your thing, try looking for 'Crowfall'. your chars is immortal but the worlds are not.
also, if you want to *realy* go GoT you can probably roleplay it. or, just delete your chars if they die of something significant XD
(i remember forums where players were never saving on their xbox morrowinds, as a form of permadeath lol)
