Hard Crash Fix found. Finally!

I hope this works for some others. My game was crashing randomly from as little as every few minutes to a maximum of an hour, and when it crashed my whole PC just did a hard reset. Very annoying and definitely an immersion breaker. I have already tried every other solution I found posted online and none of them helped the game crashing at all.

What I believe was the Fix for me: Delete all Your Java Cache
I also ticked to delete "Installed Applications and Applets"

I have been playing for 2 days straight and haven't had a single crash yet, Yay!
NOTE: If deleting the cache doesn't work, you might try uninstalling all Java versions from your PC, and reinstalling only the Latest Version

    Great post!

I would just like to add that it also makes sense to minimize the cache size to avoid further complications.

    @Wily_Wizard ,
thanks for the thread. I've tried your advice and re-installed Java.
Well I could load on DirectX 11 and even run for a bit, but not very long. Better than earlier, but worse than normal (pre 1.6.5 state).
I've tried to delete Java at all (ok the only thing I can do now is just try everything), received awful lags and crash in a minute.
I've tried to run on 1mb cache - the game seemed okay, but still crashed in 5-7 minutes.
Tried to run on 2048 mb cache - same thing.
Running in towns = constant crashes. BUT for some reason I really can load to a city on DirectX 11, while earlier 4 of 5 loads led to crash. Curious thing.
Still by now I'm almost desperate to find a cure for these crashes. If developers can't do anything in more than a month to fix this thing, who can?
I'd easily live without Justice System, if the problem is in it. But I just can't be waiting on and on, I'm so tired of it after the whole month of walking down the forums. I'm so close to losing the interest to the game at all. That's not what I'd like to remember of my new favourite TES game, but with these problems the game is a disappointment.

Sorry to hear. Im sure there is not just 1 fix all for everyone, its bound to be several different bugs. I must have gotten really lucky with the Java on mine, its been running flawless on DX11 ever since. BTW, my Java cache size slider is all the way to the right(maxed out)...but it was like that before I cleaned up my Java, and mine was crashing like crazy too.

You can try the following at your own risk. After I finished removing old versions, I noticed some Windows "leftovers" from old installations as well as in the cache folder after deleting.

In the following directory, I deleted every installation folder except: jre1.8.0_45
    C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java
So there were only 3 folders left in the ....\java directory: jre1.8.0_45, AU, and Deployment

Then in the following directory, I deleted my entire cache folder and forced Java to rebuild it from scratch:
    C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment

Don't know if this extra bit above will help anyone, but please be careful whenever you are deleting files manually.

    UPDATE:
Well a week later the crashing returned with a vengeance. It started crashing every 5-30 minutes. This is hard crashing, no lockup, no crash report, no CTD, no crashing to login screen...the 1st notice I get is a black screen and the sound of my motherboard rebooting. Completely un-playable. I've tried other new potential solutions posted here, but to no avail. I hope ESO gets this fixed soon. I really like this game, it's such a shame I can barely play it.
