I just thought I would post this for others who may be having issues renewing their subs.
This past Tuesday my subscription expired. I woke up early to find an email from ZOS stating I needed to set up a monthly plan (which I had already done two months ago). Being slightly confused I decided to check my account. I soon figured something wasn’t right after I tried to set up another plan and it failed. After that I called CS. At that time they gave me three free days to work with until I could figure out what was going on.
After several emails back and forth, and several phone calls I had all but given up. That was until today. Today CS called me and confirmed there is a problem with
@Outlook addresses. They also sent an email saying the same, which I will share in part below.
ZOS Support: “As we discussed over the phone, there is certainly some issues we are experiencing regarding
@outlook addresses and we are investigating this issue as we speak!”
CS suggested that I create and use a new email address that is not Outlook. I told them I would just use a game card. After purchasing the card everything is fine. I did not change my Outlook address on my ESO account. I just added the code and I‘m good for another 60 days.
I would like to add one final thing: It seems to me that recently the ZOS support staff has been improving. The past few times I have had an issue they were quick to resolve it. Also, today marked my fourth day on the three day pass.
