By the way, I asked a GM if it's true that all characters are growing bunny ears in 1.6.

He hasn't responded yet. This lack of response can only mean one thing...

Get ready for your bunny ears people!

If ESO adds bunny ears, I will unsub!!!!!!

As you should. What kind of company won't even clarify whether or not our characters will have bunny ears? This is hurting the game.

And what about other models, such as fox ears or kitty ears?

Clearly ZoS has some explaining to do or they will lose 1 x 10^12 subs!

And when the game is obviously shut down in the near future we'll all look back and see this before the site itself goes dark, and together we utter "We could have stopped this..." :pensive:

Also, there is no bacon in this game, so obviously all lovers of bacon will flat out unsub due to lack of progress on acknowledging the lack of bacon.

Wait... Just stop.... right... there. There is no bacon? How can there be a world without bacon? Such a thing would be so utterly devoid of compassion for the basic needs of man that the notion in and of itself is too terrifying to imagine.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAA. Yes a dinky little country with 20 million people and a computer gaming base which might be close to 1 million if they are extremely lucky has stores pulling games from the shelves. This has meaning because after all we have such a meaningful market here in Australia. WTF would I buy the game off the shelf when I can get it from ZoS or Steam and the games on the shelves are 99% console?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_gaming_in_Australia

There are over 11 million gamers in Australia with and industry of over $1.1 billion and ranked 13th in the world for video game consumption. I'd say that is a fairly reasonable achievement for a "dinky" country :)

Not to downplay Australia's gaming community but...
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_game_industry
International video game revenue is estimated to be $81.5B in 2014.

Think this makes Australia account for less than 2% of the global gaming revenue.

Australia is an awesome place, but it is difficult to view the decisions made in Australian stores as having a large impact on the gaming market.

This together with the constant avoidance of the subject from zenimax does raise once alarm. If zenimax wanted to put a stop to all these speculations, it would be very easy for them to do so. They do read the forums and post here.

"very easy for them to do so" - really?

If Gina came on and said it isn't going F2P there would continue to be speculation - "Well of course that's what Gina would say, they don't want people to unsub before it actually goes F2P. We need clarification on this issue immediately. ZOS is losing subs every day to this and all they have to do is clarify (again or for the 9th time or whatever)."

Also maybe they're waiting for the ESO live to clarify this, knowing that responding on the forums won't stop the crazy train of F2P.

The logic is strongly against the OP and others who speculate with incorrect information. Why would the game store in Australia pull the product when it could still conceivably sell copies before it goes F2P? Until you can answer that question the whole Australian store argument is not even worth considering.

Hi, folks. It appears that this thread has run it's course (though the Alyeids meme is quite wonderful). There are several other active discussions along these line elsewhere on the forums, and we welcome you to take any constructive conversation there. Thank you for your understanding.
