Are Multi-part Crafting Achievements Account-wide?

Which multi-part achievements, especially crafting ones, work account wide? I have crafters spread across 3 characters, so I am worried I'm not going to get the dyes from the multi-part crafting achievements (e.g. for crafting certifications and Dwemer motif master). Any insight into this would be appreciated!

If you earn an achievement that rewards you with a dye on one character, you can use that dye on all characters. So, that is the limitation is what the achievement requires. I don't know if there is an Master Crafter one for doing all the writs in all the lines, but I have used the dyes for like Master Deconstructor on characters that have not deconstructed much or crafted much.

Nice thing about the dyes, is there is always a shade that is close another one that might be easier for a particular character to earn.

    Hey there @ThatNeonZebraAgain,

All achievements are character specific, however the dyes you unlock are account-wide.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, that's what I was afraid of. It seems like since I have my crafting professions spread across 3 characters (eg provisioning and alchemy on my main, then woodworking and enchanting on one alt, and clothing and blacksmithing on another), I'll never get many of the crafting-related dyes/achievements. I am fine with having to scrounge up two of every motif (except dwemer since it splits nicely along the professions) since it makes it more challenging and I'll probably find them all anyways, but now it's becoming just plain frustrating.

I can see why making dungeon, exploration, and all the other kinds of achievements are character specific, but this seems to put crafting alts at a disadvantage. There's nothing to be exploited from making crafting achievements account-wide, and due to lack of inventory/bank space and skillpoints (primarily pre-Vet), it makes sense to spread out your crafting professions across different characters. It seems like an easy fix to make the crafting achievement system more flexible to accommodate different playstyles. What do you think?

Have a read through my suggestion at: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/116035/suggestion-account-wide-achievements-change/p1 and vote accordingly. As it stands I'm inclined to agree, there are certain achievements which should be account wide as they are simply painful filler.

Wait, what Achievements are you referring too? None of them are such that you can't easily get all of them on all 3 of your crafters. Or just one of them on one line. The Motif ones will be done by at least one of your crafters at some point. All of my crafters have gotten the Master Refiners and Master Deconstructer's achievements (deconstructing is the best way to gain inspiration experience in crafting, not making things and hence the best way to level a crafting skill). So, you can get almost all the achievements, and their dyes, even if you have 6 crafters. Although the Grand Master Harvesting one might be better if you dedicate one character to farming (which is what I do anyway its easier that way by giving one character all the Keen Eyes)

The only one I am not sure about is the Truly Legendary, which is to make a Legendary Armor and apply a Legendary Glyph that you make to it. But, you might be able to just do the upgrade to Legendary with the Enchanter, then apply the glyph they make.

The Truly legendary requires the same character make the item and the glyph. I don't think the same character has to improve the weapon to legendary. Will test that soon.

Let me know please. My Enchanter has some Smithing skills but will waste Tempers unless I throw some points into that, where my Smithing character has no enchanting skills and I am not grinding that up, writs not withstanding.

Actually, it would be worth a respec if I had to give the Enchanter Smithing Improvement Passives then take them away at some point compared to what the Tempers cost.

Because it will be a Legendary Iron Dagger that I put this Glyph on to get that achievement. Wouldn't that be funny, a Legendary L1 Iron Dagger with a Legendary Trifling Fire Damage Glyph?

Certified Jack-of-all-Trades (one character certified across all crafting professions)

Racial Styles Learned (doable, just have to get 2 of every motif :expressionless: )

Dwemer Style Master (have to learn/use the motif pages for professions your crafter doesn't have leveled, eg shields on a blacksmithing/clothing character. and since learning the motif can only be done at max crafting level...)

The fourth would be the Truly Legendary one, if it turns out you can't finagle it.
