Try playing against AD empress in Wabba. Standard of Might hits for 3.8k, the banner she has comes down every 2 seconds. Having 3 banners in my recap is common.People keep telling me they're gonna buy me an ale. They never do.

Avidus✭✭✭Well, the only way to tell what causes this, is to recreate it.
I would suggest trying to stack things such as 'increases enchantment effect' or 'increases crit'
Basically experimenting with the stacking of certain effects, potentially in a certain order might cause it to add the equation incorrectly.
Another question is;
Is this person on an alliance that has the following buffs - All alliance home keeps, scroll bonuses and emperorship bonus?
If so its plausible that its an error in coding causing effects to add incorrectly.0 -

Yesterday I was killed (just killed, with no OMG-damage) and compared my death recap and CLS combat log.
They was different!
No, it is accurate, but there is so much lag and latency issues with this game, the enemey sometimes does not even animate and death recap shows 5+ hits.
PVP i get this all the time, a player just looks at me and i take dmg once or twice and go down, recap shows 6 hits or so....
That or the recap is really messed up as you say.

It's an exploit on a fire damage bug, it should be fixed soon it was on the "to fix" list of ZOS.

Affrayer✭✭✭This isn't the first instance of a player exploiting to boost their damage output. A little while ago a templar on the EP side went around consistently 1 shotting people with a 6.6k stampede cast. You can find the thread here:

Whether the exploit exists in the game itself or a third party program is used, people will always find a way to cheat.

This doesnt work, when you enchant with (fire) you can not enchant with another (fire) the only option that comes up is one of a different type (frost etc..) I tested this on my v12 dk.

freidaSoul ShrivenI just ran into this DC sorc. He killed me twice with "Burning" and a guildie of mine once.
All 3 occasions, this "Burning" did over 2.9k instant damage. I will be on the lookout for him from now onwards.

Zero_Tolerance✭✭✭I erased the name 'cos it's against forum rules to show it. Also, the guy in question claims that he does not know why it happens, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Personally, I don't give a *** about campaign or anything, I only started to PvP in ESO, so I have no loyalties or any special drama attached. But I do have years of PvP in various MMOs and this *** is completely wrong.
And yes, I also got hit for over 2k with Clouding Swarm, in 1 hit. Not standing there and taking multiple hits.0 -

First time I got hit for a 1 shot 3200 "Burning" second time, I watched the staff attack come right at me, normal destro flame attack, then bam, dropped my ass in 1 shot...
For *** sake fix your *** ZOS - Since you wont ban him, I am calling him out

freidaSoul ShrivenSame guy hit me as well. One shot kill. 2nd time I've run into him. If it's a bug, he obviously knows how to replicate it. This thread has been going for 2 weeks. He's not even discreet about abusing this bug. A lot of people on AD wabba know about this DC sorc.
