Maelstrom is a Guild that was founded in 2007 in Lord of the Rings Online. We were founded on the basic principles of a strong community of respectful, diverse individuals that contribute to the overall well being of the guild. We have claimed numerous Server and World firsts in the past. We play games to have fun and enjoy a lot of laughter but also aim to complete the most difficult content as effectively and efficiently as possible. We are on the North American server in ESO.

Here are some things we expect from a Maelstrom member:
* Respectful of other players. This is true whether it is in the forums, on Mumble, Guild chat or server chat. We do not tolerate trolling.

* Knowledgeable about their class and gameplay. We strive to be the best at our classes and share this knowledge with each other for the betterment of the guild and all players.

* Have a lot of fun! When we are not raiding or taking on challenging content, we are very social. While we do not require the usage of Mumble for leveling, we do encourage it. However, if we are working on new content that requires coordination and communication, then Mumble will be required to participate. So please download it in advance... Thanks!!

* When we raid, we expect that players will be appropriately geared with the required food/potions. Come prepared for success and show up on time. Bring an open mind and help contribute to the success of the raid. If you have an idea or suggestion, please speak up. Ultimately, we want to be successful and understand that some players are highly skilled in their class and some players are more strategic in regards to gameplay mechanics and dungeons. We win as a unit, not as individuals.

We look forward to meeting new people in the Elder Scrolls Online that share our same values. Please ask any of our members about us to learn more. Yes, I have joined Maelstrom Guild when I first started playing MMO games in Lotro. I have learned a great deal about the game from them and I enjoyed my time being in their Guild. They always communicate effectively and respect to any individuals although they do not tolerate trolling or dramas. This is the reason I want to join them when I heard them coming over to ESO. A small Guild but also means closer and organized Guild structure.

Btw you may want to loosen up the permissions on your enjin page I can't view any pages on your site while logged in with my enjin account.

Hi Serondar. Nice to meet you. We would be happy to have you join us in Mumble and get to know us. We are more active in the evenings and weekends but do have some weekday players as well. I get to work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays, so that helps (just don't tell my boss!!)

Thanks for everyone that came to our Skyshard run on Sunday. It was very successful and a lot of fun. Especially running through the dungeons together to get the skyshards and completing deeds.

Thank you Crimli for taking the effort to make that run to get all those shards both above and underground. The Skyshard runs in Cyrodill is freakin fun. We must arrange more since we still have to locate more and I believe many members have missed it.

BUt yes, please bring a few Grand soul gems for yourself in case you got killed. The rezzing point can be very far away and it sucks if you die just before you get to click the skyshard (been there and done that!)

I'm new to the elder scrolls games but been playing lotro since beta.
I have been interested in finding a kinship/guild to share in my adventures in ESO.
As I have already said I'm new to the whole elder scrolls game, but willing to put in the time(RL permitting ofc) to know my char and ofc how the classes work in a team, and from what I have seen in the posts here your guild sounds like my kind of ppl to help me learn and understand this game, and in time I hope I can do the same to anyone new coming into the game/guild.
At the moment I'm trying out different classes/races to see which I like the most to make that char my main.
