    Mine's 30.5 GB (32,764,447,765 bytes)

    My Zeni folder from the top layer shows almost the same as Political's
    30.5 GB (32,764,449,403 bytes)

    The inner folder The Elder Scrolls Online shows:
    30.4 GB (32,716,438,074 bytes)

    Admittedly, I still have 2 days before I can try to log in, well a day now, but the client and everything's up to date.
    And so did many brave men, women, and beast fall to the end of Beta, never to be heard from again. All that is left, is whispers of the adventures they had.

    i ran into a similar problem with beta

    it happened because i was messing with where the game was installing to. (i was trying to put it on an external drive)

    when uninstalling the client and reinstalling into the correct (default) location c;/ program files/blahblahblah it has worked fine since.

    not sure if this is relevant to any of your issues but hopefully it'll help someone

    You know I've played a lot today and the only bug I came across was in the character design area. Zoom not working. All in all, I'm delighted. A game this size, expect bugs. You can buy a brand new car and have bugs when you get it. Put on your big boys pants all.

    Not sure if you guys have resolved this, But:

    Pressing the Play button on the launcher and nothing happening ("grey play button").
    This is not a guaranteed fix, but we have seen it alleviate this bug for multiple posters on the forums.
    Please go to your "My Documents/The Elder Scrolls Online" folder and open the folder in there called "Live."
    Check to see if there is a file called "UserSettings.txt" in there.
    If there is a file called "UserSettings.txt" do the below.
    Open the file "UserSettings.txt" in Notepad, and delete all the content in it.
    Copy and paste the text quoted at the bottom of this post.
    Save and close the file.
    Restart your launcher.
    If there is NOT a file called "UserSettings.txt, do the following:
    Open the Notepad program and paste in the text quoted at the bottom of this post.
    Save the file as "UserSettings.txt" in your My Documents/The Elder Scrolls Online folder.

    I tried that as well. At this point, I am convinced that I cannot play the game because I have achieved CHIM and it would be too meta to play a game based on a world in which I became a god.

    Unfortunately it sounds like the only thing to do right now then is to send in those files requests for the techies to look over and hopefully come up with a solution.

    If it is happening to you, chances are it is happening to others. So all the information they get is helpful. Sucks, though, that you cannot get in tonight to play.

    So I have ruled out all of the following:

    1) Daedric Possession
    2) All solutions involving UserSettings.txt including window width and height and the SetNum thing.
    3) Administrator mode
    4) Windows XP compatibility mode
    5) It's NOT the launcher, it's the ESO.exe itself.
    6) It is not Obama's fault.

    So i went into the Documents folder and noticed over half of the contents from the Elder Scrolls folder was from the beta.
    I deleted the entire folder, repaired the game, started it and BOOM i'm in.
    Hope this helps at least one person

    So basically they are saying if your launcher is bugged we will pay you attention.

    But no one talks about >2mins of gamebreaking lag whenever you are in a place that is not completely desolate.

    For Mac players wanting to provide the details requested to try and resolve this issue I have added the relevant Mac paths etc below:

    Post response in this thread I assume is best. All and any info will help them. Most files are the same for PC or Mac and same locations except obvious directory path differences.

    To find host.developer.log file on a Mac, you'll need to Right-Click the Launcher and select Show Package Contents.
    /Applications/ZeniMax Online/Launcher.app/Contents/MacOS/host.developer.log

    Similar place for next one:
    /Applications/ZeniMax Online/Launcher.app/Contents/MacOS/launcher.settings

    Screenshots are self-explanatory and similar path on Mac in Applications. Ours will have game_mac rather than game in the main folder.

    Screenshot (Command-Shift-4 to select area) of Get Info for the required size details. Its as easy on a Mac just to copy/paste the Size info.

    Ah ok, Did you add the file to "my documents\elder scrolls online\live"? The guide only says to put it in the elder scrolls online folder.
