I keep getting this error trying to log in for early access. I have the Digital Imperial Edition pre-purchase attached to my account.

    Same problem. It amazes me a company will charge you 75 dollars for a game that's delivered broken. I was fine with buggy. Not being able to login is a different story.

    Hey folks,

    To resolve issue 305 (Protocol Mismatch), please delete the following files.

    Delete eso.manifest located by default here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online Internal\Live\game\client )

    Delete data.manifest located by default here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online Internal\Live\depot\_databuild )

    From your Windows Start menu, please search and delete the following files
    zos.control.manifest
    zos.core.manifest
    zos.eso.manifest

    Restart the game client.

    If this should not resolve the issue, please download the client from the account pages and reinstall the game.

    I did what ZOS_MichaelM Administrator, Moderator admin said and guess what? It didn't work. If you bought The Digital Imperial Edition you probably shelled out $86.59 like I did. Really got our money's worth didn't we?
