Hatred in PvP

I think there's a lot of people new and old to pvp in this new mmo . I say new mmo because it is in comparison to other games with pvp that have hit the 10 year mark . I see people with healthy rivalries post on the forums that take jabs at each other from time to time but never go over board with the insults . Then there's the other people , this is for them .

If You find your self hitting the report button a lot , responding to every comment about negativity towards your faction , or filling your ignore list , pvp probably is bad for your health . If you honestly hate players because of the faction they play , you're not going to last very long here . You will burn out .

If you think your opinion is more valid then a new player because you pvp 24/7 and have some big rank title in game , your perspective is skewed . If you find your self involved in guild or faction drama , you too will eventually crack .

PvP is a competition and will invoke primal parts of your brain that go back to tribal behaviors . Loyalty , pride , superstitions , all revisited by modern mankind when simulating war . Try to keep in mind the simulation part .

Try not to so wrapped up in everything you forget who's on the other end of that modem connection . It's actually someone you both have a lot in common with . Even if they didn't choose the same team as you . Learn to laugh and have fun even when it's not always fun . That goes for people that stay and tough things out with ZOS or those that leave to try something new when it releases .

Just don't get too wrapped up in your online personas . If you and I regardless of teams here walked into a sports pub and talked about ESO , everyone would be pointing at Us calling Us dorks . It's relativity . So in short , tone down any real feelings of hatred and bias . Chances are you'll enjoy pvp even more .

Liked this part the most, a buddy of mine was calling some opposing players pathetic to say the least to which I said "We are full grown men playing a magic/swords game so we are all in the same boat"

I wouldn't say 99.9% of the time, there are some people who have real delusions of grandeur in ANY MMO not just ESO. Annoys is different to angry also, most of those people are on my ignore list so I don't have to deal with it or look at their comments and /facepalm.

I was posting Spider-Man memes before there was a real movie ever made . Everyone loves Spider-Man . He does what ever a spider can ... Plus it's relevant . Spider-Man rarely gets angry . Wow, that is a very different experience than I have had in TS. Then again we have a good portion of our core members in their 30s and 40s so anyone who gets a little crazy tends to be reined in pretty quickly.

To lazy to and like leaving typos and such in things cause know it bugs some people.
