Top 2% and did not recieve a Master's weapon

"The End of Campaign Leaderboard rewards now contain items if you are in the top 10% or higher for your Alliance.

The top 2% of the Leaderboard for each alliance will receive a gold set item and an ability-altering weapon."

This was something that was implemented in patch 1.4, the top 2% of each faction should get a set item AND a MASTERS weapon. It does not say or, maybe, could get, it says AND. Now with that being said, why did I not receive a single masters weapon? I was in the top 2% and did not receive anything other than some useless medium armor BOP items. We had a guild member change home campaigns last night and he ranked over 2900. So if we round down 2% of 2900 is 58, so with simple math it can be safely assumed that anyone rank 58 and below would get at least one weapon. Wrong. Not sure how you people at ZOS figured the top "2%" of this last campaign on Thornblade, but you failed. Your reward system is so bad; you reward healers with Stam dps gear and you reward magika users with heavy armor tank gear? Seems legit.

Someone that was rank 60 on EP a stam dps nightblade received a Masters Healing staff, WTF ZOS??

I received a Master's Healing Staff from the last campaign. I haven't gotten a chance to check to see what I've received this time. (rank 25ish, btw)

Don't understand this at any rate. People were complaining that in order to get the master weapons you had to participate in PvE content and some people strictly PvP. So what? There are an obscene number of sets that you can only get via PvP. How about a little consistency?

The way PvP is lately and the 'buff' campaigns not sure rewards should be given at all, but that's just my opinion.

OP has a valid point. Then again everything about ESO that is % based is screwy think numbers across the board need to be checked.

It's fairly common that you only get a mail with legendary gear. Usually the type you're not using ofc. That heavy set with well-fitted, seems to occur a little to frequently

I've been in the top 2% three times, only gotten a master's weapon once.

Rng sucks.

For spending a month solid PVPing to get into the top 2% of the winning faction, I would expect set pieces on par with the Vicious Ophidian set from Craglorn.

Not stuff sub par to crafted gear.

You PvP for a full month, for a chance to get a non-set item which is sub-par to PvE sets and which you're probably not even going to use.

You will hate me for this but I got 2 master weapons this campaign, and this is the first time I pushed for them. Also happened to be te two weapons I was after (fire staff and 1h sword)

I am happy for people that received what they were suppose to get for being in the top 2%. It just really irritates me that they say one thing and its the complete opposite. I was rank 48 the campaign that just ended this morning, which is still in the 2%, reason I know this is from our guild member changing last night to come in around 2987~ish and that someone today that was rank 60 received the masters healing staff.

I am sure many people agree, but this reward system is fail. A token system needs to be added, this random loot crap is awful. I want a token for being in the top 2% that I can exchange for something USEFUL. Common sense ideas are not hard to think of...

@Darklord_Tiberius Try contacting the in-game customer support about the issue.

During the last campaign, my reward email only contained three items instead of five. I contacted /Help. I traded a couple of emails with them and they replied back with an investigating response. A couple of days later, a GM met me in game and deposited the two missing items into my inventory.

Your situation is obviously different but they might actually provide a solution for you instead of simply telling you to log a bug. The CS team will definitely give you some sort of response unlike this forum post which will likely be read and ignored.

I have gotten masters weapons 3 times now, always at random, usually just one, this time I got 2.

I also go a piece of SO gear, some heavy nonsense I will never use lol

I got 3 gold clothes and 2 masters weapon... none of which i can use for my build. I dont need gold PvP items i can purchase from a trader. Give me gear that comes from SOA or DSA thats rare.

After these rewards were first added I didn't get any Master weapons either and thought it was a bug, so I contacted support. Turns out that if you are in the top 2% you only have a chance to get these items.

This is also what the official FAQ says:

I wouldn't give up though if you really want them as the chance seems rather high of getting them. I have gotten them twice in a row now, two both times.

Yea apparently the 1.4 patch notes I was looking at were "old". Still though, this reward system is trash all around. They need tokens that we can trade in for the gear we need, rather than random *** they give us.

I'd be really mad if I were the OP and the Master's weapons were worthy of the name. Useless trait, breaks set bonuses, and has a lower damage rating than a random city of Ash drop.

Only reason im using it is my 2 piece undaunted messed up my set bonuses right now. Its very meh, but I dont feel like im losing anything to equip it except a few mana regen, and an enchant I hardly relied on.

Has anyone noticed the enchant level not going down on their master's weapon? I got a bow and greatsword last campaign and haven't had to charge either yet.
