Do you feel the itemization is satisfying?

Are you ok with the set items and that only a slight stat increase differ as you upgrade the quality of an item?

Me i find the current system utterly boring as it forces you to use set items for the extra bonus and there is no alternatives to the sets. Also the only thing that differs between a green and gold item is some slight stat increase.. boring.

I do not want to turn this game into an item grind or force people to group for raids or screw crafters. That part is the implementation part and should not be concidered here at all. For example you could have a gold item drop (with room for 3 spells, but you need 1 wood crafter to unlock the slots and another to bind the spells to the slots).. The good stuff can for example drop in solo pve, pvp and in raids with the difference beeing the drop chance... higher risk higher dropchance... but as I said the implementation part is not a factor in this poll.

Loot sucks and blows at the same time in this game.

I've been submitting feedback since launch that a legendary heavy chest piece has 30~ more armor than its white counter part is way too weak

Try giving more options: While I agree itemization could be worked at, it's not Terrible. And 2,3 and 4 options are "This is a ***" Try giving people a mid spot.

I tried to edit but couldnt edit the poll part..

    But
Either you think its fine (option 1) or you agree to some point but want to change a specific part (2,3,4)
or you think several things need to change (5)

I disagree with that part, but yes there should be more difference in stats for items depending on their quality.

The reason that the difference is rather small, probably is that they don't want to have a too big gap between old/casual and new/hardcore players.

Apart from that the difference is not only in armor but also in set bonus and trait values, but I think you already know that, just wanted to post it for clarification.

I never really liked the fact that so much power of one's character has been outsourced to its gear in most MMOs. I miss the days of old where a leveled char was still a threat even when forced to fight naked and bare handed. The palpable power increase on level up made leveling so much sweeter.

Gear should support one's character not make or break it. Instead of hunting down the next +X shiny piece of string cloth, we should be able to strive for true power, make our mark on the world and run our own fiefdom. Or being the ones that bestow them upon others.

Thanks to sets the gear hunt is rather pointless in ESO anyways, since the true power lies in the bonuses and once you've got working sets, you will not want to replace any pieces any time soon. On the other hand you can actually tackle quite a lot of content naked, since your defensive stats towards lower targets cap out pretty soon.

I'd prefer simpler gear that's just balanced around protection vs ease of movement, with added representation properties, which should open or close doors depending on what you're wearing in which situations and with whom you're dealing.

The most notable and most sought after stat on any piece of gear, however, should be its durability. Next to it's weight. And there you'd have the most common worked in magical enchantments as well. If there really have to be that many. Wouldn't mind a few procs in line with TES lore, though.

Yeah, still thinking this should have been a sandbox.

A small increase in a single item becomes significant if you have a legendary set of them.
The only thing I find boring, is that I don't have much to look for from lootdrops, because my equipment is crafted, it's a set (one full set and one 4/5 set, because I use sword and shield), I can't replace anything besides rings and amulet. However, they will probably add jewelcrafting to the game, so loot becomes totally worthless, right?

Right now crafted items are of same quality or better than lootables. I'd like it the other way around, because getting a crafted set is much easier.
If you have to hunt the pieces of a set, they're going to have much higher value.

    I didn't vote.

First off, I don't want this game to become a gear grinder. I want crafting to retain it's importance.

However, I do find the loot drops disappointing. It's ridiculous sometimes to down bosses and get a couple pieces of gold and a crappy green item. Soul shards are about the best thing to get.

Or treasure chests. What can you get out of them that's any good? Basically, I do them for the xp when leveling alts. Maybe get a soul gem. Vendor the green item. Pocket the 63 gold or whatever it is.
