Night's Silence is a low-level, 2-trait, player-crafted set that even 3 day old characters can craft. It is not expensive by any means.

The power of crafting. My 8 chars all wear only stuff I have made. My son's NB has used just my stuff since VR1 and needs a VR6 set today which I will make later. My Vampire Witch got all new stuff last night for her VR6 adventuring. She has a 5 piece Seducer set with Song of Lamae making up the other 3. All fully enchanted with jewelery for many different situations. With Consummate Sweetroll for food and the best available potions for health and attack. My son's NB is just nuts on the weapon damage, weapon crit and stamina potions.
I think I dropped about 1500g on a few improvers. She makes about 2000g an hour these days.

Yes, yes, most of us can craft this. That is not the issue. If someone upgrades this set to gold, which is not applicable to you I assume since it seems you didn't do that, it is going to be a very expensive loss.

we've interacted for like all of a few hours. We probably interacted before that to agree or disagree without taking note of one another.
It's quite possible we agree all the time.

Mines purple, I'm keeping it as a reminder to myself that 'things change' in ESO land.
It's stupid that they stopped the stacking on this when EVERYTHING else in games stacks. Sorry ZOS, it's just a dumb move that was done on a whim because a few people got owned by a...'sneaky vamp NB in medium'

Good for you? Doesn't really help me. Unless, you know, you're offering to craft the replacement set i want for me.

I run mostly purple, the few points is not worth much, especially in PvE. I'll use my yellow stuff, I have quite a bit, for PvP which I will get to soon.
I buy improvers these days. There are some smokin' deals at the Guild Traders. Even yellows can be had fairly reasonably. Bought some mastic yesterday at about 600g apiece. Reasonable price I thought.

no offense, but you always seem to inform all of us of these life details that are often completely irrelevant.
It's good that you didn't upgrade to gold, it was a smart move and a gold upgrade is dumb anyway, imo. But some people did, some people might even have used this as their primary set.
And mastic for 600 is what, 200 off the regular, take 200 off a gold item and you have about 2k-2.8k per. That's not including the kuta for gold enchants if you go all out.

What do you want? I'll make you a set of most anything 6 trait but I won't sink my improvers into it. The set it's self costs me very little and I have 100 stacks of many materials stashed.

LOL. None taken but it is a fact that you can get all kinds of stuff very reasonably at the Guild traders. Recently:
30 Bugloss 900g, one of the big three. I can make 120 potions with the other two at the same number.
100 Ironweave 900g, I quit looking for mats in that category, not worth my time.
Shield with Divines 120g, my 8th trait for that.
Staff with Sharpened 200g, again the 8th trait I needed.
5 Donatas 1200g leveled my enchanter with that purchase.
I could go on.
I can do Redguard. I have no fancy motifs yet. Shoot me your name in a PM if you want. Vampires Kiss ... hmm I may need a few days to do all light. The shoulders are still in research my only 5 trait thing left. The rest is easy. I can do medium shoulders and the rest.MornaBaine wrote: »poodlemasterb16_ESO wrote: »MornaBaine wrote: »poodlemasterb16_ESO wrote: »MornaBaine wrote: »Since the Night's Silence set now no longer gives vampires ANY additional speed how many of you find yourselves stuck with an expensive Night's Silence Set that you would like to exchange for a comparable Set as the whole reason you sunk the gold into it to begin with is now gone?

If you're serious...
After researching, I think I'm going to go with, ironically enough, Vampire's Kiss. Even if I have to get all my own improvers again at least it's a start on a useable set. What motifs do you have? I'd love Daedric or Ancient Elf (would likely prefer the latter) but will also happily enough settle for Red Guard as that makes a pretty dress as well.

What money spent crafting and upgrading it? Everything needed to craft and upgrade the set can be found everywhere for absolutely free. I have almost a million in gold worth of tempers in my inventory that didn't cost me anything at all to obtain.
