If ZOS plans to keep changing armor sets and increasing Max ranks at such a fast pace, it could make many people happy to have the ability, after such patches, to deconstruct part of their gear and get their legendary upgrade materials out of it.
There could also be some limitations to prevent abuse, this is just some clues as to what could be done:
- Can only be done on bound sets (crafted sets and end game sets are bound on equip anyways).
- Include a maximum number of deconstructs per player that return all legendary enchants, 7 pieces of armor and 4 weapons.
- Make it only for Legendary pieces (since Legendary mats are the most expensive/hard to obtain).

Do you want to recover all upgrading materials when deconstructing legendary items after a patch? 57 votes
I don't care but I understand the frustration of people that want this.
I don't really care but I think it's a bad idea.
What is this "Legendary" you speak of?
