Why are people without subscriptions posting in forums? They should not be allowed too, imo. Read...yes, post....no. It only opens up the troll factor here. Fix this please, it is easily done.

No-subbers should have access to Tech Support and maybe New Player, as Square Enix do with their FFXIV forums; not that ZOS should implement SE's crass post limits on those that do subscribe.5 -

✭Those who have no game time left cannot comment on the forums. Unsub is not equal to not playing, only the intention of not playing after a specific period of time. If you want unsubs gone, feel free to send them a personal check for the remainder of their existing game times.
Besides, even if you wanted to ban unsubs from the forums, all you would get are people who unsub one day before their time is up. Unsubbing now gives ZOS a better projection of what their future revenue streams are going to be.
For instance, my unsub does not mean I am not current playing, but rather I do not intend to continue after 3 months if the game remains in its current track.v14 Sorc Vae Exillis

If you don't pay the dues why should you get to post, now if its just like a month cause you didn't have the money at the time then that's a different story. But, if you just unsub for whatever reason and don't plan on coming back then or coming back at a much later time. Then yeah you should reframe from posting.

Totally disagree. Those people who have unsubbed may have very valid reasons for doing so. As an unhappy customer (ex customer) its in Zenimax's favour to find out what they did wrong to make that person leave and to fix it.
I'm not suggesting they act on every little player gripe, but if it's something that many people have expressed and left over then financially its astute to look into it.
Also (on a personal note) I like to read as to why/what it was that caused a player to be unhappy, maybe it can help me to avoid that issue !

well for one that is not the case here as i just confirmed this with OP, but as a recurring subscriber, that would be alienating an entire player base for a petty reason like, I hate trolls. there are plenty of people who deserve the same communication that we enjoy, and that shouldn't be hindered because of what limitations they have on their budget.
BTW many people still have Billing issues, when they have the fll intention or resubscribing, but are unable to post on forums and are restricted to waiting on normal CS communication. Would you like this to happen to you?1 -

Except you are taking a part in the process, just because you don't vote doesn't mean you don't count or you are not sending a message. A lot of people didn't vote the last Presidential election because the choice was just as horrid and to send a message. Get a better candidate of facing losing every election.
People un-sub for a variety of reasons, I did it to get their attention to fix a massive part of the game that they broke and I created a ticket TELLING THEM THAT. I waited until yesterday for a fix and still no fix so I un-subbed. They did the fix late in the night ONCE enough people sent a clear message this was un-acceptable, if they fixed it I will go and re-sub and back to enjoying the game but I am not going to pay for something that I can't play. It's funny how people think we are whining as you play the game while the rest of "whiners" who want to play CAN'T play our segment of the game like we want to. I guess as long as it doesn't effect you the rest of us are just cry babies /roll eyes

Non paying trolls can't comment here anyway. Yes you can still use the forum/comment when you unsub, but as soon as any current subscription runs out you are unable to use the forum.
