Please fix hood clipping on Khajiit- FIXED ON PTS!

Hello! I'm here to talk about a serious issue facing the cute cat-faced folk of the Elder Scrolls Universe. For you see, my lovely Khajiit Tea was blessed with beautiful cheekbones. However, they are so amazing, they apparently can't be contained by cloth!

#KhajiitProblems #OP #NerfCheekbones

I've sent in a couple of /bug's and I thought the last major update (which mentioned helmets getting fixed for beast races) would solve the problem, but alas, it did not and I'm starting to lose hope.

I really love my hooded Khajiit Tea, but I can't stand seeing the clipping, so I only wear fine quality lvl 8 or 10 bosmer hood (the only one I can find that has dark trim around the clipping area). I have made due with it, but I love the look of the other hoods and wish I could wear them without making my character look bad!

So I please ask of Zenimax Online Studios to look into the issue. I am patient, just knowing it will get fixed eventually will be enough for me! :) It's just that I haven't seen it mentioned, so that's why I'm posting here in hopes that I can raise awareness for the hood-loving Khajiit of ESO.

Hey @GreenTea, thanks for the report! We've passed this along to the team to make sure they're aware so they can begin working on a fix.

    And this get's attention :D

I like to play khajiit too and might be bit disturbed if some clipping happens especially if I want to take some selfie. Though like the poster it would not ruin my play and it could be fixed by the time.

I can see many far more serious posts about issues in this game and this gets attention of the moderators.

Clipping is a relatively easy issue to fix, except in Swtor, it will probably take a week, maybe less to fix it.

Might be or might not be. Depends how things are done and do they need to modify totally the meshes of the worn items and maybe add some ifs to the code so that they do not then look stupid on non-beast chars.

So far there seems to be bit of 2 kinds of things happening. In case beast char then some things on the head gear is wider and also it will take out hair, ears etc from the char so those will not clip outside the head gear.

I actually liked how Khajiits and Argonians couldn't wear helmets and shoes in Morrowind. Made them really special.

    I wish that reappeared.

I know there's barely place for that in MMO. But I still do wish that =)

I dislike that, boots I can understand (although it makes them weaker than other characters who can wear boots), but hoods and helmets, thay can be easily modified, even an apprentice blacksmith/leatherworker could do it.

Personally I like them wearing headware and footware, it makes them one of us. O:)

    You're right on the helmet.

Boot's might get their form for their feet, too, I think.
I liked how their feet were different from human ones. Modern feet render their tails unnatural.

And if they could not wear boots (just lets pretend), what if Khajiit would be super sneaky on their paws. And argonians could have a tail attack, or be somehow less vulnerable to getting off-balanced as long as tails do help to balance self.

And being special doesn't make them less "one of us" =)

    Good news fellow fat-faced Khajiit!

For a few updates now there has been false hope of a fix. Last update in particular, our male brethren were freed of the oppressive tiny hoods. However, my fellow female Khajiit still had to shamefully wander the streets with too tiny of hoods on our cute, cat-shaped heads.

However, when I saw the patch notes for update 5:
Fixed a clipping issue with hooded headpieces on character models.

Once again... hope. This time, instead of waiting until the patch went live, I downloaded the PTS just to check if they finally fixed the hood problem, and lo and behold. After six months of strongly-worded bug reports:
